As stated above this only hurts the legitamate buyer as usual. The 3 install limit is toally ridiculous and I for one will not buy any more EA branded crap until they fix this.
On a realted note, how well is the 360 controller supported? I'm thinking of getting one (or maybe just the wirless adapter so I can use one of the ones I have) to play GTA IV if I get it for PC. Also does rumble work?
Probably because most people hope it never happens in reality and don't want ot try and guess how the countries would align themselves, It either has to be set fairly far in the future or in an alternate history like WiC. I do thinkn there could be more games in the alternate history genre, that seems to be a new and untapped genre that has some potential for good stories. These games speculate on what could have happened and not what could (still) happen, which people have an easier time thinking about.
A lot of these ideas sound good and any one of them would make a good game. I'd just like it to be more about war and large scale operations like the marine missions in COD 4. All of the missions with soap got a little annoying after awhile.
Dont understand this thread? Doesn't wow just patch itself when you load it? I've never downloaded a patch to any MMO from any outside source, game just does it when you load it.Sleepyz
Yes it does but the blizzard downloader is terrible and they don't just make the torrents available so you can use a torrent program that doesn't suck. Plus these patches are like 400 MB a piece. You can also download the patches through regular HTTP downloads which is what this guy is doing.
I don't carte whgere it's set as long as it's WWII or later (but isn't futuristic). I would rather they have it be more about war and less about special ops stuff.
wait what version is your client at now? IIRC you need to be up to 2.0 before BC will work. The BC update isn't a patch, it's just the expansion that has all of the added content. You should be able to patch up to the latest version then install BC.
Edit: checked the link and yeah that looks right. My account is inactive now (decided to take a break for awhile) but I think 2.4 came out last month. If that's the case that patch you linked to will take you up to 2.4 as long as you have 2.0 or higher. Also check to make sure that's one of the official downloads since you're using a different site other than blizzard's crap downloader.
