I bought a PC (w/XP) about 6 or 7 years ago. It got me through 5 years until i got an iMac (didnt really game much on the PC, so i didnt think of getting a new one). But now I'm itching to play some PC games but my RAM may not be enough (for my old PC). So I put an additional 150MB of RAM into it. Will the additional RAM show on my properties? Or will it show the original RAM even though i put in additional ones?

If you right click on my computer and select properties you should be able to view your RAM, but if you have over 3 gigs in RAM it won't show unless you have a 64 bit OS.

Look, don't waste your money on either of those PC's, build your own PC. If you don't know how there are a ton of forums (including this one) that will show and tell you how to build your own PC. It'll be cheaper and will most likely run better than either of those PC's that you have listed. Trust me, you'll thank everyone on this forum later, if you build your own because of the money it will save and the performance you'll get. Building your own PC is ALWAYS better than buying a pre-made PC, hands down.

The NF980-G65 will do fine, but if you're just planning to do two-way SLI, you might as well just get the M4N98TD from ASUS. It's cheaper, and you still get the full 16x/16x bandwidth for your video cards.

As for desertpython, I've had more problems with ATI drivers than nVidia ones, personally. Reason why I went from two 4890's to the GTX 480.

Thanks, much appreciated. I think I'll go with your suggestion and get the M4N98TD, Thanks again!

Driver support again? Both companies have rubbish drivers occasionally. Your choice is based on that?

desertpython
No, it's one of the small factors. I just know what I like, I've used Nvidia for years and I love their cards. I've played around with some friends comps that have ATI graphics cards and didn't really care for it.
