Build it and see what its like.desertpythonEh, I don't wanna build something that I possibly won't like especially when a single 5870 is over $300, screw that. Plus Nvidia has better driver support than ATI, I'm just gonna try to find a good board that'll support Nvidia

Eh, looks like my only option is to go with the ATI because I want nothing to do with an intel processorIf you want 460's SLI'D
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128423- you need a 1366 processor (i7 930) for this
For a single 5870

What are you looking to buy? Do you need SLI? I prefer to buy chipsets from the manufacturer, not third parties.desertpythonWell Processor wise I'm getting the AMD 1090T Black edition, and I wanted to get dual Nvidia 450 GTS and use the SLI. I just wanna find the best motherboard for the job
The onboard will disable automatically or you can kill it in the BIOS. I would go for an AMD not an Nvidia chipset.desertpythonWhat would you suggest? I looked for Nvidia because I wanted something that is good for SLI.
I'm in the process of finding parts to build a computer and I ran into something that I have no idea about. It's a MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard it say's it has onboard graphics and I was wondering if it would affect me putting graphics cards into the PCI slots, would I have to disable the onboard graphics first? If I do, how would I go about that?
If you liked Mechwarrior at all I suggest Mechwarrior Living Legends, it's in its beta phase right now but it's open to download and play so check it out! http://www.mektek.net/forums/index.php?automodule=downloads&cmd=viewcat&cat_id=38
[QUOTE="Elann2008"][QUOTE="Bikouchu35"]This. Build your own and buy an NZXT Apollo Case if you want that "Alienware look." It'll save you lots too, TC. How much will i be saying as opposed to buying this?Cheaper and better is build it yourself. Theres a sticky incase you dont know how.

A lot, you can build a decent gaming comp for under $1000, Alienware are decent computers but far from the best. What you're really paying for is the brand name...
