[QUOTE="gdp72"]I can't wait. Does anyone know if the riders will launch off the bike after a crash? I don't see how Criterion could pass that up.carlisledavid79

I hope so. That would be great.

Actually, to keep the E rating, the biker dissapears the moment a crash occurs, but supposedly the camera will change in such a way so it wont be extremely noticable. A downside, but without it, they wouldnt have been able to make the patch, so its a neccessary sacrifice.

RA2 was my first strategy game, and the single player is very accessible for begginners, I was playing at the age of 7. However, even now, after 8 years of on and off strategy game playing, I still cant do anything online on any strategy game, because people are so good.

Buy the first decade of C&C, its only 20 dollars and you get 6 Strategy games + their xpacs + a really fun FPS based in the same universe. Its the most accessible RTS for me, but Ive only played a few.

Did anyone else get into the gog.com beta? I did, and I'm loving it, just bought Fallout and got the 2nd for free. I'll probably pick up tactics sometime soon, does anyone have any other good recomendations?

For thsoe who dont know, Gog.com (Good Old Games) is a website run by CD Projekt, the company who made the Witcher and used to make a bunch of European ports for old RPGs. Now this website buys the rights to old games and sells them DRM free, and Xp and vista compatible for ether 6 or 9 bucks, depending on the publisher. I think the public release is sometime later in September.

Hope this doesnt count as advertising, Gamespot ran a story on it a month or so back, and thats when i signed up to be in the beta, got picked this morning.

If they pick up more old school RPGs, I can finally die a happy man, because I'm only 15 and I keep hearing these amazing things about games like Planescape and the old Baldur's gates and such, and if I bought them on CD, I'd run the risk of them not working on my vista machine = /

Rock Band. Bought my ps3 because I needed to be able to play RE5, and have dlc for Rock Band, and since all of my friends have a 360 and none have a ps3, it was the most logical choice. The system came with motorstorm, but I never played that until 4 months later.

And carrying the Ps3 and Rock Band to my car was a pain, heh.

Looks great, and as much as I want to enjoy Motorstorm 2 because I love Jungle graphics, it will probably be on the same level as M2 or possibly even better for a much better price.

Banjo looks nice, if it plays well, I'll probably pick it up when I pick up a 360. I haven't played the first two, although I have them on my computer.

And I like the art style and the character design reminds me of Madagascar.

Untold Legends is only 20 bucks, its a very fun action rpg for the price. Viking Battle for Asgard is also 20, its fun as well.

Bioware and Square Enix :D

WAIW

That was what I was going to say, I'd love some WJRPGs, if that's possible.

I'd love to see id and Valve, I just bought the id pack off steam, and I'm loving all these games. Or ut2k4 era epic and Valve (The makers of my two favorite online fps' could make some great titles). Or Epic and id making a good shooter with a good singleplayer, but the same mayhem of the UTs.

A TF3 probably wont be released for ages, if they ever decide to make one. Maybe theyll make a new game with whatever new engine they develop for HL3, like CS:S. But who knows.

One thing I've been wondering; how are online only games profitable? With huge patches coming out every few months and small patches to fix bugs every week, paying $20 for a game with lifetime upgrades seems like Valve could be losing a a ton of money (10s, hundreds of dollars?) per customer. Believe me, I'm glad with not paying, it just seems like unprofitable for the company, unless there's some factor I'm missing.

The dissapointment of UT3 carries over to this year for me.

I was also really anticipating for Turok, but the demo was pretty bad. Although at its current price, I think I might pick it up, I LOVED evolution for the GC (I was young =P).

Other than that, GTA4 was a minor dissapointment, but Ive never done missions in GTAs and still dont, but the driving around and goofing around just didnt have the same charm. Brawl also didnt do it for me.
