They will be released on Gog.com (a new digital distribution service just for old games) this month, the beta starts on the 7th.

http://www.gog.com/en/intro

They will play nothing and have pretty much nothing to do with the third, however. They are isometric view and much more rpgish. I havent played them, but I think Ill love them and the third. Die-hard Fallout fans are mad about the third being less rpgish and more fpsish, but for anyone new to the series, they all look like fun.

Untold Legends is a TON of fun. I got it for only 20 bucks and I'm loving it. Sure, sometimes the jumping and getting stuck in mid air is annoying, but its nothing gamebreaking.

Also, Viking is a great value now, only $20, and its a blast.

I would have paid 60 for both of those games.

Looks nice, but I just really don't like the look of the Unreal 3 Engine (I've loved the previous two, ut 99 was my first fps/m rated game, still my favorite fps, and I was horribly dissapointed with ut3). I'm sure I'd enjoy it if I had an xbox, but this isn't a system seller for me.

And for the record, I don't like the look of Kz2 either.

Dang...Ut '99 Was my one of my first video games, my first FPS, and my first M game. I loved it dearly, and had all the maps memorized (I was six when it came out). UT2k4 was the first game I ever played online (I didn't have an internet connection on my comp for 99) and I bought the Collectors edition of 3 on release day, and it just didn't have the same magic for me. Maybe it was because I could only run it at low settings (and the game is very blurry on these settings), so I was thinking of getting it for Ps3. But now, I guess not. Oh well. R.I.P. Unreal.

BTW, am I the only one who played the single player unreal games/portion of the tournaments? Killing Xan for the first time is still one of my proudest gaming memories.

Both Warhawk and SOCOM appeal to hardcore multiplayer fans, so I'm wondering if the Warhawk numbers will thin out (permanantly, not just for a few weeks) when SOCOM releases. I'm wondering because I just bought Warhawk and haven't started playing yet (waiting until the patch with tutorials).

Obviously, none of us have a crystal ball, so I'm really just wondering if the majority of players are looking to switch the day SOCOM comes out or are going to split up the time between the two, or whatever.

Thanks

NES, GCN, GBA, GBC, DS, Ps2, Ps3, crappy comp that can run games like oblivion/bioshock at low (which is fine, I just need it to run The Witcher/RA3/Diablo 3 and I'll be a happy camper). My next purchase will be either an xbox 360 or a psp depending on how well the upcoming RPGs for 360 do and if FF13agito looks like it will make the psp purchase worth it. After that, I'll probably be out of college before I buy anything, and I'll get a good gaming pc before the next gen of consoles.

Right now, I have a small amount of interest, but after this fall, I will probably buy a 360. It all depends on how well these RPGs do and if they are indeed going to stay exclusive. If that's the case, I'll probably pick one up after xmas.
