@kinectthedots: Yes, Street Fighter is a game so shallow that it appeals to sexually frustrated teenagers, just like all the other JRPGs listed there. Just add an affection scale, and it will be a full on JRPG garbage. You asked which fit the criteria, and you got your answer.

Shallow? You must have never touched a fighting game before. Mastering your character of choice and all the matchups requires a pretty long time.

It's not Japanese games that are the problem, it's the crappy little anime JRPG shovelware being forced on the market with nothing to counter it.

The PlayStation 4 is ridiculously saturated with this junk, it's becoming like the indie game shitshow that Steam turned into.

I am not sure what you are talking about. If anything, its saturated with crappy shooters designed to appeal to the retarded masses. These anime JRPGs you speak of have been a minority in home consoles since the ps3/360 era.

System Shock 2 has more RPG elements than Fallout 4 and yet people used to consider it an FPS back in the day. Its really funny how much the definition of RPG has degraded over time.

Mass effect 2 and 3 are the very embodimiment of dumbed down RPG elements. Its basically removing all sort of character progression by streamlining or downright taking out stuff like stats or inventory management.

The Witcher 3 destroys all modern Bethesda games in basically every single way.

@HalcyonScarlet: The people who think Cloud is a emo character are those who only watched Advent Children. The movie completly destroyed Cloulds character. And to be honest, without Sakaguchi to stop Nomuras emo nonesense, he might end up the same way in the remake.

LMAO, how the **** is this kind of reasoning accepted.

Gamebreaking bugs, terrible animations, shit story, shit story telling.

Muh nostalgia, it's cool Bethesda games are always this awful, it's ok to give them a pass.

The ****?/ 10.

Yeah, for some reason Bethesda can always get away with games filled with technical issues, crap combat and terrible story. Because lets be honest, if this game didnt have Bethesda's name on it every major review site would have given it a 4/10.
