@Mirimon78: What do you even mean "go through neutral ground"? and how could MS be asking Sony to do their online through them? that doesn't even make sense. No network is exposing anything other than opening their network like MS has done, and Sony is unwilling to do. MS already has a bunch of games cross-network and they don't require using MS network at all... There's no imposition here. If you don't mind, go into more technical details as to why you think Sony has to go through MS to let their network talk to others, I'm really curious.

@Mirimon78: They don't have to go through MS network at all, all they have to do is open their network to communicate with other external networks, including MS. There's no technical excuse here, Sony has openly admitted they simply do not want to, for whatever reason, the ball is in their court now. People on XBOX will login with their XBOX credentials and people on PS4 will login with PSN credentials, neither is imposed on the other, their networks simply talk to each other.

Sounds like an excuse, they could limit things with other networks while still offering cross-play. They want their walled garden closed, fair enough, it'd be so good to play Dark Souls 3 between PS3 and X1 players though, as well as other games.. well too bad.

If instead of creating their own spin, they stick to the source material and focus on making the characters feel authentic, it might have a chance but who are we kidding, why would they do something so simple when they can just cheese the hell out of it and make it suck.

If you care about graphics, this is the console to get. As gamers we care first about games though, so MS needs to keep pushing games for these machines. At least there should be some very nice looking games coming out for it. Price and games will be key for this machine.

Still the best hack and slash game out there behind Bloodborne, can't wait for the DLC. I do hope a BB 2 comes out. BB is the pinnacle of this type of game, a 10/10 game.

Downloaded the demo, it feels pretty good but it does not match the combat of Souls games let alone Bloodborne which perfected the Souls formula imo and it's as perfect as a game can get.

The author doesn't seem to remember the fallout at Team Ninja which is what caused the change in quality.. It wasn't so much about culture or style.. a good game will be a good game regardless of cultural references.
