I've always liked Uncharted for its good and fun gameplay but that's also been the one thing that makes it seem average. What takes it up to another level is the cinematic action sequences, which I've never really cared much for in games.

This is why I write business apps instead of games, life is not about spending all of it in front of a monitor churning out code no matter how much you love gaming. I write little games when I can for my own enjoyment but rarely have to deal with those crunch times .

Looking at the top 10 reviews in this site the only two games on top 10 right now with highest scores are a ps4/pc title and multiplatform with 8/10. either xbox games or rather exclusives are just not being made with same quality or at the least they're not being made to appease reviewers (no this site at least). In any case, MS should take note of what PS4 devs are doing and perhaps follow suit. I feel this reviewer would have given MGS4 a 5/10 though.

This would be a great move for gaming as a whole, people would be able to have whatever console fits their needs and still be able to play online with anybody, win-win. Fanboys will be the only ones who may dislike this for seeing their beloved company cooperating with the supposed enemy, so another win-win for gaming for spiting fanboys.

Fair points. Sony fanboys are so pitiful, I love my Playstation 4 (it's the only console I own of this generation) and I think Sony has been doing a stellar job but I respect what MS brings to the table even if it's not to my personal taste. Competition is good after all. But the way fanboys attack people for liking or disliking something ranges from the immature to rooted psychological issues.

BC is important, I'm glad they're finally putting some work into it. Hopefully it works by putting in the disc into the PS4, it'd be messed up if they try to charge for these games just being emulated.

BC really needs to be more common going forward, it adds a lot of value imo

@mkeezay22: no one has said otherwise, Sony is obviously doing better, chill, drink a beer, MS did better for a month, it's not the end of the world and the article did not state otherwise.

A story is such a subjective metric for which to judge a game, more so than anything else, after all convoluted story games have received 10s. Good review, bad score, again by the review this game should have gotten a higher score, it sounds like it breaks new ground, it expands, it sounds like almost 99% positive with nitpicks. But GS scores have become irrelevant to me, when a remake of a solid but still 4-hour game gets a 10, you just have to wonder...
