I want a meaty RPG to get my teeth into, either Mass Effect or Fallout 3.

I can't get both because they take up too much time so whichever one I get I'm going to need it to be good.

Looking for a good story mainly but also enjoyable gameplay.

Been looking at reviews and they both look good and have good stories.

I am leaning more toward Fallout 3 at the mo because the new exansion pack looks good.

So if you've played both which did you enjoy the most?

When do we get the wireless instruments in the UK?

Would it be a good idea to get the ion kit for £200 and just use my guitar hero guitar for now? Do they come with 3 cymbals included? or are they extra?

How do the cymbals work? They're the same coour as the drum pads?!?!?! Are they pointless?

Are the standard RB2 drums any good... i here the pads are really sweet when compared to the RB1 drums

Cheers for any help. Harmonix/EA/MTV aren't doing themsleves any favours with the franchise, but it looks so much better than GH:WT

The steering is bad because the camera takes ages to turn after the car turns. This maes the only workable camera pan the one that's fairly far back. Any other camera pan and you haven't got a clue what's around the corner. I don't know why they made this design choice... why not have the camera stick to the cars arse so we can see where we're going!

GTA was a bit crap considering, but I think gamers are getting over the 'go here, do that' gameplay. It's getting old.

[QUOTE="vashkey"]You can only install 360 games. If you guy X-box original off live you'll have a X-box on your hard drive, but thats not exactly ripping them onto your hard drive.Dredg11

*sigh* I hate it when people call it an "X-Box". It's Xbox.

He didn't call it X-Box... he called it X-box. If you're going to be pedantic, do it right. Anyway, it's xBox... like an iPod but with a big B and no d.

I tried this topic before and had most people disagree. But i'll perservere.

Rare were a complete waste of money for Microsoft. They spent a record amount on a company that makes games thta nobody wants to play. I held our a small hope for BAnjo-Kazooie but I now see it at my shop for half price... and it's just come out.

It pains me to say this but Rare are **** they've been completely left behind by the modern games industry and are irrelevant.

Can anyone give a good counter argument?

hello all,

not trying to be an advert here but i found guitar hero 3 for £35 in HMV with game and guitar. I only bought it because I'm getting rock band 2 with all the stuff after xmas and i though it was cheap for second guiatr with bonus game.

Having played guiatr hero 3 for the last hour it seems a bit crap but oh well.

So is £35 a good price for this?

Hello all,

just caught some news online that some big cheese in the industry (I think he was from Microsoft) said that the games industry had left RARE behind and that Microsoft's aquisition of the company was perhaps not that great a thing in hindsight. Sorry for the vagueness but I was supposed to be working while I was reading it and forgot where I saw the article. maybe others have read the same thing?

So maybe y'all would like some ketchup with which to eat your hats.

Seriously though, RARE was the jewel of the British games industry and used to lead the pack. What's going on with it!

Little Big Planet looks amazing.

Banjo-Kazooie looks crap (aren't they going to be releasing a Wii style spanner with the game so you can actually construct your own vehicles!)

Rare are overrated.

Shaq Fu. Forget about the bad gameplay for a second and just look at the ridiculous concept. That alone makes it horrible.staindcoldlp

Yea that was a moronic game. Does anyone remember Cool Spot?
