[QUOTE="HarlockJC"]

the first nes had two SKU

one with ROB the robot

one without

Ontain

ROB was much later on and those would be bundles. the actual NES was the same

ROB debuted with the NES release in 1985. I know, I got one that Christmas with Gyromite. Eventually would get tired of waiting on that piece of crap and just open the gates yourself with the second controller.

The porn industry will be the deciding factor for the format wars just like the VHS and Betamax days, Sony will just have to reconsider "allowing" the porn industry to use Blu-RayGP1mil

Porn is already on Bluray, and it won't be that much of a factor now days thanks to the internet.

I really don't see the point of this SKU. By the time it comes out HD-DVD players may only be around $100 or so seeing as how one can be had new for $200 now.

[QUOTE="MadExponent"]Sony will be bought out very soon. I wouldn't say in the next few weeks or anything, but they will be bought out by somebody in the next year or so. It is going to happen. They are completely useless. How anyone could be a fan of Sony is beyond me. I never attack cows and I'm still not "attacking" them. I am just saying. How could you even be a cow if there are no games to make you a cow. MadExponent

Sony's going to be bought out? Are you crazy? Who's going to buy them?

Sony's gaming division is losing money, but the rest of the company is very profitable.

They could easily be bought out. If their gaming division is not making any money they will have to make cuts in other places. It is almost like kicking out one of the legs on a table. Once you have destabilized the table the weight of everything that the table was supporting will bring the table crashing down. Sony's gaming division USED to be Sony's bread and butter. Unless they pull off some kind of magic it is going to be bad for Sony. It will be felt all the way up the corporate ladder and you will see leadership change and a possibility of a buyout.

No company the size of Sony is ever easily bought out. I doubt a controlling interest of thier stock is even available for aquisition.
