Play RE4 for the Wii.
I did. The addition of the motion control was not enough to overcome the realization that I was playing the same game I did two years ago.
Well, a big reason why I didn't buy RE4 for my GameCube OR my PS2 was because I absolutely detested the controls. The Wii kicked the game up for me from "unplayable" to "zomgholywowamazing"
Interesting. I fell in love with the control scheme in RE4 and actually brought the series new life in my opinion. I think the Wii's motion control can bring new innovation to games, but I'm not exactly sure that should by default come at the expense of other improvements in other facets.

Optical and HDMI at the same time? Blasphemy! (says the PS3).

I'm not sure what you're doing wrong but my PS3 setup works flawlessly with the TV using HDMI for video and optical TOSLINK being used on my surround receiver.
[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"][QUOTE="JiveT"]HEROES season 1 in HD only on HD-DVD. TCHBO. It was kind of weird Sony would show Heavenly Sword on a Universal product seeing as they are the only HD-DVD exclusive.
But seriously...I don't care enough about high definition DVD to worry about either format except in cases like System Wars where I am sort of dragged into it. It ticks me off that so many Blu-rays were released withoutextra content that the DVD's had. It seems like HD-DVD releases are better thought out from the few I have experienced. I've only seen a few from each format though.

Lost is owned by ABC...ABC is owned by Disney...guess which format Lost will be on when it hits HD?
See I can do that too.
The only problem is Lost blows.I'd hate to see what you think of Grey's Anatomy.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised. A Bluray/HD-DVD thread has gone 3 pages without someone foolishly bringing up online distribution or HVD technology.
[QUOTE="BlueBarad"]NPD does estimations too. OMG NPD FTL?[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="Solid-CELL"]estimated sales FTLOpticalCanine
NPD estimates with actual data.
But NPD leaves out alot of big stores in there estimates(wal-mart,circuit city, etc)
They don't leave them out, they estimate those.
[QUOTE="ramey70"][QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="LOKI-RA"]Give the console a year before we start dissecting it. I remember the xbox 360 having a rough first year as well. CaseyWegner
the "give it more time" thing doesn't work anymore. the 360 did better than the ps3 has in its time frame.
Of course it has. But success of one doesn't deem failure of another. Especially when you consider all factors from an objective standpoint.
well, they are competing.
Competing is a relative term.
[QUOTE="NobuoMusicMaker"]Wii has the worst backwards compatibility while PS3 is first place.bers316
What on earth are you talking about? Every gamecube game works on every wii thats sold worldwide. Can the same be said for every PS2 game working on every PS3 sold worldwide? Nope.
The PS3 is backwards compatible with most PS1 games as well. What is the backwards compatibility percentage of the Wii in regards to N64 games?
