Just give it some time

CaseyWegner

it's had seven months.

A WHOLE 7 months? Well that's an eternity.

yes a whole seven months. not every console has this problem. why is the ps3 special?

Apparently the Wii does, with only 1 more AAA and the same number of AA's.

It is a rip-off if you own the movie on dvd. Since older movies turned into blu-ray are remastered, and don't look as good as movies filmed with HD cameras.

So don't buy a remastered movie, only newer ones.

Tulak_Hord

That's not true at all. Film has a higher resolution than digital HD cameras.

Here's my Blockbuster queue. Notice Planet Earth is added in Bluray.

Click the All Editions tab and you'll see that Blockbuster carries Apocolypto in Bluray. It's tricky to find but Blockbuster offers many films in Bluray on their website.

I guess it's a good thing that I'm finally at a point in my life where I don't fret over $30 purchases.

The buttons aren't on the side. The entire fret area is a button if you look at it closely. I like it.

[QUOTE="Playstation00"]People do want it. Its just the price is scaring a lot of people away.mjarantilla

All that means is that the PS3's value is much less than the $500-600 asking price.

Not so much value as it is the competition is stealing its thunder. Hopefully that changes soon.

Yes, it is lack of value. The manufacturing cost of the technology inside has nothing to do with value. The PS3 simply doesn't offer enough for what it costs to buy.

I bought my PS3 primarily for a Bluray player, and for what it costs it has filled that role rather well. As far as gaming goes, I still rely heavily on my 360.
