if u really really have to buy from these two then go for the "system 1".. run xp and u will be fine. i recommand that pc becoz it has a good graphics card. yes many ppls will say 7800 is outdated but believe me u can run all the above game in high settings in 1024 resolution in a good speed. its true..1gb ram is ok if u use xp and also u can anytime add some more ram.. only bad thing is it comes with p4.. try to get a core 2 duo atleast... but like i said if ur choice is really limited between these two then go with the 1... u wont be disappointed.. u will be happy instead :-)

it will look better as u increase the resolution.. so the higher the resolution the better it looks but the more graphics horsepower it consumes.. so u must first think what graphics card and cpu u have then if it is good enough to run in that resolution sure go for it.. it will look excellent

according to next weeks AD scans for Best Buy, theyre being priced at $200.. if you can get a coupon or something, id guess its worth it. they seem to work better than the 8600gts in benchmarks and for under 200 id say totally worth it. blackacidevl
under doller 200 and u say that worth it? guess u only buy from the bestbuy where the price is kept so high for all the pc parts.. i even saw a 8600gts for $210 some days ago.now a days 8800gt is going for $200 or even less.. how come 9600gt will worth a 200 ? its in the 8800 territory and the worthy price is no more than $170.. thats my opinion

Nope.
Single +12v rail with 16amps.
So, basically a 250w PSU, though it is probably labeled as a 600-700w PSU... right?

LordEC911

Go for the 8800 GS.

[QUOTE="raufin"]9600gt is already benchmarked...http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/1 [...] index.html.. price maybe same to 8800gs but performance is greater than 8800gs.. and its a g94 chipsetWesker776

even it is not that powerful as 3870 ofcourse it will be very close .. and going with a 8800gs right now is a big loss.. becoz 8800gs is limited by its 192bit and have less video memory.. 9600gt will surely beat the 8800gs and will have almost the same price..8800gs is a limited version.. it will go out of market soon

That review is questionable. Half the SP's, a fraction of the of the ROP's and texture power of G92, yet it performs so closely with the 8800 GT?

9600GT isnt going to be that cheap because im sure that retailers will bump the prices the same way they did to 8800GT.SearchMaster

yeah that's what i m foreseeing... but after 2 or 3 weeks price will be go down and will come close to the msrp becoz i heard there's lots of supply in the way ..anyways that price made me scream!! a very good card in ~170 ...thats why i want to see more and more competition..its gr8 for the consumers like us who aren't willing to throw $250 for a card to game... btw i m not ethustic gamer :-) thats why i think like that... dont flame me for my word :-)
