Today he got a problem. When he starts the pc only the power led kept on. processor fan is ok. monitor's led is beeping(like it beeps when the pc is shutdown). I guess its a psu problem. Can u guys help out to diagnosis the problem? thanks

tnx thinker i appreciate ur suggestion.in my country the 8800gts 320 mb is going for $186. however i have seen in tom's benchmark that 3850 cannot run crysis in AA mode. heres the link http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/11/15/amd_radeon_hd_3800/page16.htmlhttp://www.tomshardware.com/2007/11/15/amd_radeon_hd_3800/page16.html

hello, i know extra ram is good but my monitor is only 17 inch flat LG monitor and i will not change the monitor before Q2.2009 thats for sure. so i thought 8800gts 320 mb will be good as it is a little bit faster in the game than 3850.. i cant run game in 1600X1200 resolution becoz my monitor dont support this..my budget is very tight :-( i hope i could buy the 8800gt

hello guys i want to upgrade my graphics card soon... i dont have a big budget to spend in my graphics card..right now i m running intel 965 chipset motherboard,a core2duo e6xxx 1.86ghz processor, 1gb ram(800mhz bus) and nvidia 7600. i will also buy a psu and another 1gb ram stick. anyways what i want to know that should i go for 8800gts 320mb version or the 3850 512mb version? like i said i cant strech my budget for graphics card no more than $188. i found out that 8800gts 320 mb can be found around $188. i have to mention that i have a 17inch LG flat monitor and a samsung 15inch monitor. i dont play games in high resolution like 1600X1200 coz my monitor dont support it and i m not planning to change my monitor very soon(not atleast before 1.5year) so i m thinking that 320mb 8800gts will be good for me. and what psu should i buy for the graphics card? I dont have a lot of money i just want a minimum psu that will run the graphics card. i will not overclock it. i m not a hardcore gamer so around 28-30fps will be good for me. so please advice me kindly. And one more thing is will i wait for some more weeks for the geforce 9 series to come out so that the price will drop?
