As for the games I'm looking forward to the most --

1. No Man's Sky -- This is exactly the kind of new idea next-gen launches specialize in, especially when the previous wave of consoles is growing stale.

2. Zelda U -- I have a Zelda tattoo, and still, this game fell to number two. That's how excited I am for No Man's Sky.

3. Naughty Dog, just them in general -- Uncharted should be great on ps4, but I really want to see them stretch their creative legs and do something brand new, which is one thing Sony does more than any other company.

4. Quantum Break -- Alan Wake was my favorite game on the Xbox 360, this is their next game. That's all I need to hear.

5. Something new we haven't heard of yet -- Along the same lines as No Man's Sky, I adopted the next generation of consoles for the sole reason that I want new types of games. I grew bored of the previous generation almost three years ago, and I'm ready for creative developers to show me things I've never seen before in games. I'm ready to move past just making games that look like movies, I want something for any of the big three's consoles that let me play games in ways I haven't. History shows these kinds of games come out the second holiday season for a new system, so fall of 2014 looks like that time to me.

I didn't stick to just three because I've already invested in Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One. There's more than one game I want on each system.

A new Fatal Frame and Shenmue 3. I don't have favourite generations though. I just find them all good for different reasons.

Nintendo now owns the Fatal Frame franchise, which would be awesome on the Wii U tablet, but would probably piss people off something awful if they don't like Nintendo.

That's something I've been wondering about. I have read that Nintendo co-own it with Tecmo, so I guess they'll do another one eventually, well hopefully.

I hope they do, the Wii U tablet could actually do something really interesting with a game like that (Pokemon Snap, too, of course). Unfortunately, they released an entry for the 3DS called "Spirit Camera" that was pretty terrible and barely sold, so it doesn't seem like they'll be doing anything with the license any time soon.

Just broke down and picked up the Xbox One, after already picking up the Ps4 and Wii U at their launches (go to college kids, having money's great).

I figured I'd end up liking one system more than the other, but I'm finding the quality of the launch lineups are pretty much identical. Killzone's the pretty, shallow shooter it's always been. Dead Rising is yet another one of Capcom's horribly-controlled, but still-fun action game. I think it's going to be a long time before any of them end up a clear winner.

After buying the third new system in two years, I find myself wondering why people are so passionately bashing and defending these lineup of games.

Just got the Xbox One, and I'm having trouble with the Kinect Sports demo. The sensor keeps telling me the path is obstructed. Do I need to move my coffee table and everything out of the way to play the game? Does anyone have any tips on making the Kinect work more efficiently?

Thanks.

Both are inferior to pressing a button. But even as a Playstation fan, I'm finding the Kinect's voice recognition works better. The ps4's doesn't seem to pick my voice up while I'm playing a game, while the Xbox One's seemingly always hears me.

People seem to forget this game was quickly transitioned from a Kinect-only title for the 360, meaning they took an on-rails game and had to transform it into a full blown title for the Xbox One launch. A lesser developer would have done the game a lot worse.

It's actually not from Nintendo RealJay, it's from Tecmo Koei. Still, I'm getting this and I hope Midna is playable.

Yes, I'm rather excited. And yeah, they said Temco's making it, but I'd hedge my bets on the fact that Nintendo's publishing and probably keeping an incredibly close watch on the development. Zelda's part of their top 3 biggest sellers (along with Mario and Pokemon). They're not going to let anything tarnish the Zelda name.

I like how this article is so silly it turned into an argument about fast food.

Ah, I was not aware that they weren't full versions of the games. That's my mistake. I was highly confused as to why 16 games for 15 dollars was being considered such a potential rip-off.
