[QUOTE="rocktimusprime"][QUOTE="reilo"]Okay, let's get something straight about Kotaku vs Sony -- especially their readership. Take this for example: Sony gives Kotaku a ONE-OF-A-KIND laser-etched PS3 to give away to one of their readers. Now, read the damn comments in that topic: Link That is the readership that Kotaku has, and who they aim their articles at. They never have had love for Sony. "...makes a great paperweight!" "@BBBoT: I think that a more important question is: "Is it powerful enough to allow for real time weapon switching?" "Hey as its the only way I'd ever own a **** 3 I'll enter!" "Man thats a fancy blue-ray player. I hear it might play games someday." "If I get it I'd use it to hold up my Wii Sensor bar under my TV " "It better cook a dozen hot dogs at once. It better." Yeah, Kotaku, Sony fair all the way.

so because the users dont like the PS3, kotaku hates ps3?

No, but Kotaku has posted false, stupid, and blatantly spun something very mundane to make it look really bad for Sony. And they do that to appease to their readership -- that's their readership, that's who they cater to, the anti-Sony crowd. Always have, always will.

The smart thing Kotaku could have done was say, "Okay, we won't post the rumor, but we get first exclusive rights when you announce it -- that is, if it is true. Send over the NDA (non-disclosure-agreement)."

WILL BE? WILL BE? I'm assuming you have never read kotaku before. There is a reason they are a banned over at NeoGaf, too.

Ugh, let me direct you to NeoGaf, where everything is put into perspective and makes the TC look like a fool: NEOGAF Sony is bringing out some VERY exciting stuff.

Very good score. Although I question their 7.5 for "replay value." They gave PDZ a replay value of 9  Anyway, it got 9s in the three very important categories and a 9 in the most important one -- gameplay! Also, they will be adding DLC in the coming months.

So much for being SHALLOW AND SLOW? Motorstorm am mine :)

It's not about swapping discs. It's about developers wanting to save money by not having to go the multiple disc rout. Each extra DVD costs money to produce and hence lowers the publishers/developers profit. Do you guys think that BioWare had ME fit on one DVD9 because that's just how it happened? ME if anything is bigger than DVD9, and they had to use money and resources to get it to fit on one DVD9 -- money and resources that could have gone into making the game better. At least, that's how I see it.

Funny, I downloaded RR7 demo just three days ago and it took me 20 minutes. Which is just the right amount of time for a 400MB on my connection.

[QUOTE="DrinkDuff"][QUOTE="Thrice_III"]Everything I've read about it sounds like it is a good game for F1 fans. I could care less for F1 so I'm not getting it, but it will likely be a hit in europe.

Yeah, it looks like a decent game, but honestly it shouldn't have really been hyped because games like this never get astounding scores. I think the only reason it was really being hyped was because its a PS3 game, and all PS3 games are high profile releases at this point. I think the Sony fans need to be a little more disciplined when it comes to hyping games. They need to control the urges to hype any game they see. :P

Who hyped what and when?

Another review that does not match the score... I mean a 8 in graphics? Really? It's only slightly better looking than Full Auto 2? Seriously? This is a head scratcher.
