Sure, but it's as much a gaming machine as any other. If it's the same game, why shouldn't it be considered as multiplatform when also on the PC? Bioshock will be the same, you know, on both.


I'm not denying that.  Yes, you play games on PC, and yes, some of the ports will play the same.  But that's not the point.

The point is that exclusivity marketing is designed to sell consoles.

It's just marketing.  You get good exclusives to get over the other guy, and you sell more consoles.  The concept has no meaning on the PC.

They arent getting milked for Online Gaming.

:D

Most gamers enjoy Free Online gaming. 1 group has to cough up $50 a year. $250 for 5 years.

$250 = 5 Free games this generation or a free Wii eventually.

Remind me why 360 fanboys are paying $50 a year for Online Gaming.

Multiplayer is the reason the EU/US version was pushed back. So I'd imagine network code is what they've been working on since the Japanese version was released in December. The game is set to be released in 20 days. As in available in stores, not the game going gold. So they probably have like 10 days to fix whatever problems there are.

10 days to fix LAN lag is a lot of time. Besides the game will be played on Sony servers by practically everyone not a shared LAN

10 days is nothing in software development.  Nothing.  You could spend ten days making Project charts.

Also, as has already been said: LAN and Online use the same damn netcode, you noob.

It was already established before someone bothered to post the full picture.

And the comment wasn't just aimed at you.  If you'd read the thread, you'd have noticed that it was called into question almost immediately.

They're obviously low-balling and clearing inventory out after the Christmas glut.  You're forgetting, this is the second Christmas the 360 has seen, so now it's into the actual business of managing console distribution, instead of launch-time hysterics.
