I guess I cant be called a fan as I have only played the demo from combat evolved on pc but I still cant wait for these games. (oh and gamespot, halo wars is coming to pc)

Chronicles of narnia: Lion the witch and the wardrobe, although second in the series of books, is the first in the series of movies. In the end instead of being a great tale like the book was it turned out to be a very undercooked experiance which only me, my dad and jonathon ross seems not to enjoy. The first movie was shot in new zealand (notice another similarity to LOTR?) However Prince Caspian was not going to be shot in the same location as LWW as it was originally thought it was going to be shot in ireland. But however the pre production was in NZ so therefore some of the movie could still be shot there and not entirely in pinewood studios.
Jackie chan has been hurt while filming a fight scene for his upcoming movie, Rush Hour 3. According to a post on his website he was hit in the chest by a steel reinforced table. Fortunately there have been claims that the injury was not serious This isnt the first time he has been injured in a stunt but the only other time was in his last movie.
"I was doing a special bit with a table during a fight sequence. It was the fourth take and I already got the shots I wanted. I decided to change it a little bit and get one more shot. I suddenly got hit in the chest by this wooden table, reinforced with steel," chan said, "I was mad at myself because I didn't concentrate. I already had three good takes of that shot, why did I have to do it one more time? This pain wasn't as bad as the first time I had the accident, but I didn't feel too good."
He was sent to the doctor soon after the injury and was cleared to return to work on the film but the movie has gone tremendously over budget and the most have the cast has become ill.

Wii lets face it, its only stron point is the zelda game. And ps3, its way to pricey. Yes im seriously considering a swap to the mighty xbox360. And thanks to the game halo 3 I might just do that. The graphics are great and this new trailer seems to speak of a mysterious history of master chief (i have gone to the liberty of learning his name) and although I prefer the last trailer it really spoke to me. It said "this game is going to rock. Buy me as soon as possible!" To be honest, it looks better than MGS4!!!!
The reason why peter jackson quit the movie is because of a lawsuit between him and new line cinema. But what if new line dont get to make the movie? Well this might be the case as pproducer saul zaents has predicted that new lines rights to the licence will run out and then he will team up with mgm (famous for producing the james bond movies) and he says all of this will happen next year. And he has said to when picking the director Peter jackson will be his pick of the job. In a statemen zaents said
"It will definitely be shot by Peter Jackson.The question is only when. He wants to shoot another movie first. Next year the rights to The Hobbit will fall back to my company. I suppose that Peter will wait because he knows that he will make the best deal with us. And he is fed up with the studios: to get his profit share on the rings trilogy he had to sue New Line. With us in contrast he knows that he will be paid fairly and artistically supported without reservation."
Although Jackson has not agreed to any propositions yet zaents also said that the movie should start filming in 2008/09 and that we will most likely end up with a two part movie.However noone knows if new line will try to rush a hobbit movie out before their license expires.
Peter Jackson (Director of lord of the rings,king kong and the upcoming lovely bones and dam busters remake) has announced that he is not going to make the eagerly anticipated hobbit movie. In an explanation of why he would not make the film to theonering.net he said
"We would have to agree to make The Hobbit as a condition of New Line settling our lawsuit. In our minds this is not the right reason to make a film and if a film of The Hobbit went ahead on this basis, it would be doomed. Deciding to make a movie should come from the heart - it's not a matter of business convenience. When you agree to make a film, you're taking on a massive commitment and you need to be driven by an absolute passion to want to get the story on screen. It's that passion, and passion alone, that gives the movie its imagination and heart."
However although Peter Jackson is not doing this movie it has not been cancelled. Rumour is th script was actually finished and that they are looking for a new director. Whether the end result will be good as the LOTR trilogy we shall see in time.

The grapics on this trailer dont seem to look like ps3 standards and if this trailer IS ps2 gamesplay then it bloody gawgeous!!!!!!! The idea of starting in a plane then parachuting down into the field is really cool. I wish i though of it before! And the gameplay SEEMS to be back to good old frontline standards instead of red suns awfull gameplay.
