Last June 20th century fox announced plans of turning the phenommenom of a tv show, 24, into a movie.Now the star of the show, Kiefer Sutherland who plays CTU agent Jack Bauer, has spoke up about haw the will do the adaptatation of the show.
"It's something that we really, really want to make," the Emmy winner told About.com. "The real key difference would be that the 24 hour film would be a 2-hour representation of a 24 hour day. It would be the first thing that we didn't do in real time. Mainly, you have to understand, we're making two episodes every three weeks. We would have three months to make a two hour [movie]. Just to have that kind of time to really allow our cinematographer and our director and the writers to focus on such a finite thing, and actually be able to do a film that really has a conclusion, I think would be really exciting not only for us to make but I think for an audience as well."
he also added that the 24 movie "will be outside of [the continuity of] the TV show. ... I actually believe that the film and the show can actually coexist and for quite some time. I think once that starts to happen, the dynamic between television and film will really change in a major way."
For all the fans of the whipcracking, wisetalking tomb hunter, the news they have been waiting so long to see is finnaly here! Lucas and speilberg have announced a forth film in the series!
They announced the next movie in the series at the Rose parade earlier this week (of which lucas led this year) and was also announced in the hollywood reporter.
Plot details have been kept under wraps.
Connery is being written in and the movie is due out for a may 2008 release.

I got in the clan called the best snipers! I have been recruited to play republic commando and I have been working on my sniping and shotgun skills recently just to get in and Im a fairley good all rounder now!.

The new name (originally found out by CTF_MASTER) is Blacksite: area 51. Consoles are ps3 and a rumoured xbox 360 release. On the screenshots I provide here there is typing as its a magazine. They mention the game being a squad based shooter. The main enemy will be the 'reborn' the mutant humans from number one but the new game will also introduce a new alien race featured in these screenshots. Midway have also said that although it wont reinvent the FPS genre, Blacksite is going to be a ver polished game thats very relevant to the world we live in.

Well as you know its christmas today and this morning i openned my presents. I got 3 ps2 games as well as other stuff. They are as follows.....

The press are saying that although a title has been settled on a release date has not.
"I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more," says the author. "I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry, I will.)"
Tomb raider started off as the highly succesfull ps1 game spawning 4 sequels on ps1 and two sequels on ps2. There have been two movies made so far bringing in around $480 million dollars worldwide both starring angelina jolie as lara croft. Last April she announced that she was not done with croft role yet and Ian Livingstone (creator of the tomb raider franchise) said to the Daily Express at the time
"Paramount has optioned Tomb Raider III and Angelina has agreed to star in the third"
Now he is saying that the project is moving forward. "There's a possibility -- we've been talking to Paramount, who've agreed to assign a scriptwriter," livingstone recently announced on tv. he also said "That's nowhere near the green-light process but it's a very healthy start to have a scriptwriter which they're going to pay serious amounts of money to write the first script."
It looks like a promosing start for fans of the movie franchise!
