4gb crucial ballistix

DA-X48-DQ6 mobo

silverstone 850w

silverstone TJ07

2x 640gb western digitals

and some other peripherals logitech g9, razer lycosa and i already have a logitech g25 and z5500 sound

just listing what im getting to show that this is ALL for games so i want a big monitor, ive been looking at the viewsonic 28 inch which is about 700 australian, but i wouldnt mind getting a 30 inch to play games on 2560x1600 and really use that video card.

but that being said there are really only two options, a dell or a samsung, im just wondering if anyone has either or if they know which is better but i really need one with hdmi for my ps3 and i dont think either have it so if you know a different one plz help.

i would get a 4870x2, seems more worthy of the other components, and also sli isnt that great, you get about 30%performance increase with 2 and about 10% with 3 and thats not really worth it, seeing as a 4870x2 would be alot better, if not a single 4870 would still be awesome.

im getting a Silverstone tj07 as a case its very expensive but its wickid, if you want a good case or want to spend some money :P have a look at silverstone or lian li.

i would get an external dvd drive cos the look disgusting in the bay of a good case.

and i would just browse around for a cpu cooler, although with a silverstone or lian li case it might not be totally neccessary.

hey i read something earlier that reckons that this mobo ONLY takes ddr3 ram, is that true?

the heat problems arnt all that bad all my friends have a E 8400/500/600 cards and no troubles as of yet, and the e8600 OC's a dream, but as i said this is just what ive heard and experienced and i dont know anyone with a q just read everything i know while i was getting my system
