Superclocked is right, and he has proved me wrong once before with results so I would believe what he says, his 3d mark scores prove that overclocking has a large impact on framerates, both CPU and GPU.V4LENT1NE

Superclocked is wrong and has only proved he knows nothing about computer science ,the only thing he's offered as Proof is a 3dmarkscore with one using a single GPU and the other using SLI, the average sm score for a 8800GTS 512 is 6000 in his 3dmark score before he edited it was 5865 now its 7713 that's an overclocked 8800GTS and considering they can go past 8000 he failed at that to.The FSB affects the entire system speed. The higher the FSB, the higher the system performance. Raising the multiplier alone does very little for performance.And nothing for games.What about real facts that prove him wrong, or is this just a IBELIVE in the OC GOD I don't need facts i just know.Maybe the rest of use who have actually done this for yearsare just praying to the wrong piece of wood,and have actually bench marked it in games I personally have tested over 30 games with a Q6600 and 2 8800GT's in sli on a asus P5N-d I've been using this system for over 2 years.

I sighed, and proved my point. No point in moving to insults. I know first hand, not everyone does. No big deal. What kind of setup do you have? I can recommend some nice cooling. Air, water, frozen.. Always build your own water and "phase change" systems btw...

I'm lost. What did you prove? I see a couple of 3dmark screens, but what?

The first one is with 1 8800 the second is SLI i guess he was proving how SLI scales in 3Dmark.

[QUOTE="superclocked"]1920x1080 16xAF 2xAA Very High. I outperform a stock i7 920 + GTX 295 by almost 3500 points w/ an e8400 and SLI 8800's because of overclocking...superclocked

:| I hope you have fun playing 3DMark06.

More insults, typical of your type. Not being able to admit that your wrong and all. But I'm not mad at ya. Keep up the good work :roll: BTW, I play Crysis @ 1920x1080 w/ 16xAF, 2xAA, everything set to "Very High.." The works :)

Is that with 1 8800 or 2 like your 3Dmark score.

How about benchmarks of a graphically intensive game using the same GPU but different CPU's,RAM,MB and FSB. CRYSIS!
