I only ever see people who actually bought one of the recent AMD CPUs speaking positive about them.

It's called post-purchase rationalization.

Still doesn't make them any better. AMD has been behind for like what, the last 2 generations?

Sturmfuehrer_
This. Choosing AMD over Intel at this precise time goes beyond any rationalization. It's just not a smart decision, as a mater of fact its a bad investment. AND this is my first Intel build, before that I used AMD. They need to get their CPU **** together for us.

Upgrading your CPU to another C2Q is not something you should even be considering. C_Rule
Also this. Dude Felipe seriously dont go for another Quad, that would be a total waste. Just Oc you current one and then go for the whole upgrade.

[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="Lox_Cropek"]Actually, I think the first thing you should upgrade is your CPU. If you buy a new GPU, the difference might be small due to a bottleneck.

Lox_Cropek

But people have have stated that it's not worth upgrading the CPU, since it would cost around AU$150-$200 (from eBay). Just save up, maybe get a new GPU and then down the line upgrade the whole PC (keeping the 670).

If you get a 670 and keep that CPU you'll be disappointed with the performance.

This. Also Felipe you are saying that upgrading both the CPU and Mobo will cost around $150-200, well how much will the 670 be? You need to think about your priorities here. Whats the point of adding a new GPU to an old setup (thats is obviosuly the root of your problem), when your 470 is still a very capable GPU? I mean either OC your CPU if you want to prolong the the life of your setup or get a new mobo, cpu and ram and get the 670 later.

[QUOTE="C_Rule"][QUOTE="KLONE360"] Runs BF3 1080p find on med to high so Im inclined to say as it runs Arma 2 like a champ aswell that FC2 even with its horrible gameplay wouldn't be very difficult to run.KLONE360
And for those of us who are not happy with medium settings @30 fps, we'll continue to spend that little bit more. Thanks.

I like the way your an Elitist, Stay Classy Gamepoot.

Actually, he changed when he did his upgrade recently. Am I right here C_Rule ? Or were you always an elitist and I didn`t understand your posts?

[QUOTE="Masenkoe"]

No, there is a such a thing as being safe and such a thing as wasting power. 1000W is too much for 2 video cards IMO.

If you're going single card get 750W MAX. You'd be fine with 550W minimum.

I know that the GTX 670 FTW edition can max BF3 online @ 75 fps, but if you wanna go SLI and have the money do it and get 850-900W.

Get this mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z77

Also, switch to the newer CM 212 EVO.

Exactly what I was thinking regarding the mobo. I currently have previous P67 Sabertooth and its an awesome board, no issues at all in 1 year. Plus, its very stylish and clean if you care about such things. I do XD

They screwed up. They screwed up big time. Ive never felt such a big WTF moment in my life. Here I thought they would come through for us in some way and instead they screw up the game, get too greedy and tarnish their names. Is it redeemable? Of course, but they need to do something fast before it get harder. I guess the difference here is the teams within Blizzard working on each title. I was very happy with Starcraft 2 and look forward to Heart of the Swarm but they better get themselves together and makes things right cuz Im having a hard time trusting them right now. They've just been pulling too much crap lately and it makes no sense when they were so respectable before. Gamesterpheonix
THIS. I am seriously hoping that a massive overhaul patch will be released that will transform D3 into a true Diablo game. Or like Elann and Kozzy said, an expansion, but not any common expansion. It has to be major and bring back what the true Diablo players expected.

[QUOTE="Temesra"]Can you say more about the game what makes it look cartoon like and for 12 year old? What is it about the game you hate so much?

I don't hate the game, its just not a Diablo game. Its an excuse of a release by blizzard in order to capitalize on something that meant a great deal to thousands of gamers.

Easy, they fired pretty much the entire original Diablo 1/2 team.

James00715
Of course they did. They just took a small portion of their WoW staff and made D3.
