i have the abyssus mouse. i just installed windows 7. it seems now my mouse wheel isn't working right. maybe it never has and i'm just noticing it now..i don't know.

the problem is....every few turns of the mouse wheel, it skips, as if i rotated it 2x instead of one.

easy way to test what i'm talking about: in modern warfare 2, i have the controls set so that rotating the mouse wheel down changes weapons. but sometimes now i'm noticing if i rotate it once, the gun switches to another gun AND BACK TO THE ORGINAL GUN....all with just one wheel rotation.

it's not just modern warfare 2. i can repeat this problem in all windows programs.

it happens about once within every 15 wheel rotations.

i'm looking for someone that has the same mouse to test this for me. i wanna know if it's just my mouse....or if the abyssus is bugged? i've tried windows mouse driver and the driver from razer.....both have same problem.

so..if you have the abyssus, please rotated your mouse wheel about 15 notches and see if you notice any of them skipping.....so that 1 notch gets counted as 2.

thanks you!

Comodo Antivirus. Since I'm running ComodoFirewall, it makes sense to have less programs running. Keeps the CPU and RAM usage down. Adam_the_Nerd
ya i use comodo firewall + antivirus all in same program
