[QUOTE="rock_solid"]wikipedia says it will have 256 bit bus and 1gb of memoryhartsickdiscipl

This is a case where I definitely trust wikipedia. It's going to be a GTX 460 1GB with the full GF104 GPU enabled.

i also have a xps 420. FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO!!! google "q6600 bsel tape mod" ....this will overclock your cpu to 3ghz. your fsb will be 1333. and YES you can do it to a dell. i did this mod like 2 years ago and it's been running flawless. all you need is a very small piece of black electrical tape! some other upgrades i did: went from 3gb ram to 6gb ram put my 2 hard drives in raid 0 630W power supply SB Audigy original video card was 8800GT. then i had gtx 260. recently got a gtx 470 off ebay. also went from 32 bit vista to 64 bit windows 7

i used vista for years. if you have it updated and configured good, then it is not bad at all. however, i did upgrade to windows 7 and i would say win7 is better.

hi, right now i have a gtx 260 ocx maxcore (performs close to a gtx 275). it's still pretty good, but i'm having to lower some settings on new games to get constant good fps.

now please keep in mind, i use 1680x1050 and i don't wanna spend more than $250. i am not loyal to nvidia or amd.

also, single card setup only. i don't do crossfire or SLI.

what you guys think?

thx

if you already have one cable modem you don't need another one. yes you can buy an access point to work as a repeater.

don't buy an alienware, they're overpriced. i think it's ok to use some of the money to buy a new pc, but don't waste it. you can get an awesome pc for under $1200.
