i simple way to bypass all of this stuff......is to put your pc's ip where it shows DMZ. you will never need to forward any port for any game/program. this will make your computer less secure, however, so if you do that, be sure to use a good software firewall.
DO you know why this "tape mod" dose this? and when overclocking more from my tiny test, the volts have to be raised quite a bit. but to be honset 3.0ghz, is fine.Plo_Koon_basic
yeah i'm just leaving mine at 3ghz i used to know why this works but i forget. google "q6600 tape mod" or "q6600 bsel tape mod" somewhere on a forum i saw someone explain it really good with like intel cpu diagrams n stuff

Done, it works perfectly. I really can't belive it, lol. i'm glad that i found this out. thanks rock solid, and to CaparoT1 who started this forum post. i just need a better cooler cause mine sucks. but temps are hovering around 35 C. yea it's pretty cool. glad it worked for you. i've been doing this OC with the stock cooler for almost 2 years with no heating problems. i idle around 36-40C....which is fine
TC i'm in the same situation. i have vista 64 bit now....and i'm totally happy with it. i have a free upgrade to windows 7 right next to my computer.....and i still don't even know if i'm gonna use it.
