are these reviewers american or english? I am not a native english speaker, but they sound to me like english trying to speak without english accent. Or maybe I am going deaf to english accent?

the US is interpreted as a temperate country. Does that means that a game set in Miami should be full of snow in the winter?

@wwlettsome Well, you see, old action games in Genesis and SuperNES were longer only because there was no save feature.

It took like 100 hours of gameplay for me to be able to finish KID CHAMELEON on the Genesis... but once you master it, it could be finished in like 1 and a half hours.

Same with QUAKE 1

@alpha-blade if the exact same game was marketed as an XBOX360 or PS3 exclusive, it would get a 11/10 rating from Gamespot.

good review Carolyn, but São Paulo is not exactly a "tropical location", despite its location right over the Tropic of Capricorn. Its 800 meters high location contributes to cool down its weather enough so temperatures above 80ºF are rare in the summer (rarer than in NY itself!) and that average lows in the winter (june to august) are around 50ºF, with record lows reaching 30ºF.

Its gets even colder in the 3 southernmost brazilian states. More similar weather to Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Santiago.

just need to read the Wikipedia article on São Paulo city for the rainfall and temperatures on the city along the year.

in the summer, when São Paulo is hot (not as hot as NY in the summer), São Paulo is also VERY RAINY. Its difficult to see blue skies over São Paulo in the summer (december to march).

In the winter São Paulo has more sun, BUT then, the weather is cool enough so even a New Yorker like Max Payne would want to wear some light jacket or at least long sleaves...

@hella_epic No, its not. São Paulo is usually cloudy and cool weather, never about 30ºC and average minimums of 10ºC in the winter (july).

And in the south of Brazil it even snows occasionally, and frost is quite common.
