@Barighm: 2018? That gives the ps4 pro a 2 year lifespan. Sure it gives the PS4 in general 5 years on the market but that would be bullshit. Sony is in the lead and should keep focusing on content for PS4/Pro/PSVR. This generation is finally getting good. I don't know about others but I'd be pissed if PS5 comes out earlier than 2019.
@Barighm: Luckily I still have my copy of Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't keep a lot of physical games but I do try and keep the ones I know I will go back to and play.
The PS3 ended up being 1 of my favorite consoles ever. I received it as a bday gift towards the end of '08 and my library started off with mainly exclusive titles. I had Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Resistance1&2, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and Heavenly Sword. Exclusives can in fact make or break a system and to me Sony nailed it again with the PS3.
Even today I have a short list of exclusives I need to get to such as Demon's Souls, Twisted Metal, Ni No Kuni, Yakuza 4, and SIREN: Blood Curse. It was always sad to see 360 fanboys bash the console knowing they missed out on incredible games. The end of an era for sure.
@khanwashere: Fully agree with you! This is the first generation that I skipped a major console release by not getting an Xbox 1. First time since I been 16 and working that is. I do hope the new Xbox delivers as I love to own all of them. Thing is I want a PC for several reasons so if MS keeps putting their games on both (PC&console) I might have to skip Scorpio as well.
@beowulf1211: You ain't lying. Only reason to get an Xbox 1 s is if their friends are all on Xbox instead of PS4. If people had to choose just 1 console then the PS4 is it.
@dmblum1799: How did Bloodborne play on the ps4 pro? I don't have a 4K TV but if this boost mode ends up being a solid feature I might sell my current system and upgrade.
Hold Up...The only 'Souls' game I played was Bloodborne (current playing The Old Hunters)...my question is...is fall damage almost non existent in Dark Souls? That last jump in the video would've meant death in Bloodborne.
@walidras: The PS4 games they put on the service will be around a year and a half or older. They do not want to create a situation where the PS4 is not an attractive option for consumers. If anything I think Sony feels this is a way to get gamers who wouldn't buy a PS4 regardless to purchase this service instead.
