I hope this is the first and last time a game implements this. Trophies are something a player should earn.

@mushywaffle: The only way it would be fair to knock off a point for just graphics is if you are aware of what the hardware can do and the game doesn't push the hardware anywhere near its limits...or if they chose to go with a really ugly art style...

Are you also taking into account people that will play it a lot on just the tablet? I'm sure the game looks a lot better when on a 6 inch screen. If anything your opinion made me think how future Switch titles will be judged or if reviewers will add a section explaining the small differences between tablet and TV modes.

@Barighm: Did you play the games that you had doubts about? For example I doubted Bayonetta 2 and Smash Bros (never owned a Smash Bros before the Wii U version) high scores but bought them and LOVED THEM. It really is hard to judge a game until you play it for awhile.

@rarerichz: You must be losing your damn mind! There are plenty of solid games NOT made by Nintendo... Look at The Last of US, Ratchet & Clank, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh, Uncharted 4 and Bloodborne... those are just some Sony exclusives now on to 3rd party games like The Witcher 3, DOOM, GTA V, Dark Souls 2&3, MKX, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Batman Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider, RE7 etc. This list should show you that someone who owns say a ps4/ps4 pro has great games from many genres to choose from. I'm tired of these BS fanboy comments.

Nintendo messes up also look no further than last year's Starfox.

@smearygoose1768: Shovelware will not help the Switch's reputation...more is not always better. Nintendo now more than ever needs to make sure the games that do land on the Switch function as advertised meaning the game should run on the TV and on the tablet.

Also, the casual audience already has games geared towards them like 1-2 Switch for example.

@SkytheWiz1: That's my issue with most open world games as well...the replayability just isn't there for me... I beat the GOTY edition of SoM recently and as much as I would like to go back to it at some point I doubt I ever will.

@mwewerka: I bought the GOTY edition for 11 bucks not too long ago and felt it was worth it...I had a ton of fun which is what gaming should be about when it's all said and done. The Nemesis system made every death count so it made each battle intense.

They should extend the sale until Mid March at least...I'm sure they are doing this to take sales away from Nintendo which is smart in my opinion

@silversix_: I feel you...a lot of current gen games to play and a lot of them are great...but for instance I ended up playing Def Jam Fight for NY this weekend and loved every minute of it. You have to keep in mind a lot of old games people missed or there just hasn't been a game like it since.

@Furwings: I still have my N64... if this game gets awful reviews maybe I'll just buy Gretzky 3D. Seems like arcade-y games have taken a back seat this generation. I miss EA Sports BIG and Midway.
