Makes me wish arcade hockey was more popular...I remember loving Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey on the N64...good times. I hope this is just as fun as that was.
@doctor_mg: I believe the launch window was once described by Nintendo as 3-4 months after the release date. Pretty weak launch for existing Wii U owners.
My big concern and I stated it before...is that Mario Kart, Splatoon And Xenoblade weren't enough to sell Wii U's so why on Earth would they release sequels to these games so quickly? I know deluxe isn't a sequel which honestly makes this launch worse. Yes all 3 franchises are great but they needed to come out swinging here and they didn't.
@shamatuu257: Especially since both Zelda and Mario and offline games...I was dumb enough to get the Wii day one and the Wii U a month after launch. This time I will be waiting at least a year to see what Nintendo has in store for the Switch. Zelda BOTW I can always buy on the Wii U if I can't wait (though I think I can) and Mario will be just as fun a year or two from now as it will be this year.
@biggamerdude: Played the demo and the first game and felt they weren't as fun as UFC Undisputed 3... but I more meant there aren't any actual boxing games this current gen not combat sports in general. As much as I love MMA there is something about just boxing that feels great as a video game.
@squidward360: Physical and Digital will always be treated differently...there is no doubt that sales of their software will take a hit if they allow people to log into 2 or more tablets. Sure it sucks for people like the father in this article but they want to avoid friends allowing others to stay permanently logged into someone else's account and playing games for free.
With no achievements (I'm assuming) what would be the motivator to play every game on your own account? Definitely a tough situation for Nintendo but I wouldn't hate them for only allowing you to log into one device at a time.
@7tizz: I recently replayed Crash Bandicoot 1 on my ps3 and still enjoyed it...obviously not as much as I did back when I was 12/13 years old but still a pretty good platformer.
