@sebb: Honestly, I don't think my 1060 graphics card could run the game at 60FPS even on the lowest settings. I'm just going to wait for the Google Stadia.
@livedreamplay: I find the guns in RDR extremely boring. And why does Rockstar always make auto-aim the default setting? Never understood the appeal of playing a shooter where the game automatically does the aiming for you???
This first time I played a Rockstar game, I didn't even know that auto-aim could be disabled in the options.
@livedreamplay: The 1060 was a decent graphics card a few years ago, but not anymore. Anyways, I'm in no rush to play RDR2. Gameplay wise, I'm sure it sucks just like the first one. RDR is all about the visuals, so if I can't pull 60 FPS on medium settings, I'm will not be playing the game.
@analgrin: Good to know. I don't even have a PS4Pro, I just have the standard PS4, so playing The Last of Us 2 isn't even an option for me. I'm just going to wait and play The Last of Us 2 on the PS5. Also looking forward to playing the remastered 60FPS version of Spiderman and God of War.
@Atzenkiller: Performance is extremely important. Even more important than resolution.
30FPS literally makes the game feel broken. Every time you pan the camera around, all you see is a blurry mess, which totally ruins the immersion, but at 60 FPS, everything looks crystal clear. Just like it would in real life.
@Atzenkiller: PS5 version will be 60FPS no doubt, so those who patiently waited, will be rewarded.
If a console game isn't running at 60FPS, then just wait few years, and eventually a 60FPS version will come around.
Not sure what the FPS for The Last of Us 2 will be for the PS4, but the PS5 version will definitely be 60FPS. Maybe that's how you have to do console gaming? Just play remastered games that were originally released on the previous console. I might start doing that myself.
