normal day/week

well i am one my way to work shortly. i went to school and got out early because of thanksgiving break. i then went to the gym for about an hour and did two and a half laps around the lake. no smallville tonight. :( but smallville will be back next week with a brand new episode and then the week after will be a repeat of the season three finale and the repeat of the season four premiere on the same night. i got my smallville season three dvd in the mail last week. i reserved it months ago and it was worth the wait. it is a must buy!

i am worried about one of my college classes. i have slacked off the past few weeks and it will be close whether i pass or fail. what happens if you fail a class in college anyway? does anybody know.

i got four new superman t shirts in the past two weeks. with these i have a total of twenty superman t shirts!

oh well i have to get to work. up and at them!

*adjusts cape and flies out window*

i beat halo two this past weekend! i was kind of disappointed with the ending. did anybody else feel the same way?

smallville 04-09: bound ( part one )

well, another week of smallville and that means another review. this episode looked like it had so much potential seeing as it was a lex themed episode. it could have been better but i guess it could have been worse.

what happen?

okay this episode starts off with lex at a charity ball. lex is keeping to himself like usual and then a women catches his attention. lex goes over to women and they listen to a mp3 together. wth barely an words spoken they are off to lex’s hotel. they are all over the elevator making out on the way to lex’s room. both lex and the women with no name make it to lex’s room and get it on. in the next scene it is morning and there is a maid knocking on the door and walks into the room and screams and runs out. lex wakes up to find a the bloody dead body of the women he had slept with.

lex is at his mansion talking to his lawyer after being released on five million dollars mail. the lawyer wants to know his side of the story and lex fills her in. she leaves telling lex not to go anywhere or say anything stupid. clark shows up second later and wants to know what happen. lex tells clark that it must be his father out to get him and set him up. clark is kind of disgusted at lex with sleeping with a women who he knows little about especially that lex does not even know her name. lex tells clark to go home and not get involved. then next scene shows lana asleep having a very vivid dream/nightmare about isabelle being burned at the stake. the dream is also very intense and lana keeps seeing the image of a mysterious women who she does not recognize. lana wakes up pretty frightened. 

clark goes to see lionel in prison and at first the meeting is a little awkward for clark. they both sit down and lionel asks about lex. lionel says that lex will not take any of his calls and clark says that lex thinks he is out to get him. lionel insists that he has changed. that he woke up during a prison riot and that he had felt something powerful and pure had been inside him. he later found out the his terminal liver disease had mysterious disappeared, like it was never there. clark wants to know more but then lionel begins talking about lex and the very likely possibility that lex is being set up. lionel talks about lex having patterns in his one night stands. lionel directs clark to look into if dead women’s car and to let him know what he finds. ( the women’s identity is still unknown. )

lana is at the talon and martha informs her that there is a women waiting for her. lana walks over to the woman and is surprised to see that it is the woman from her last dream/nightmare. the women introduces herself as jason’s mother and that she wants to see jason even though he wants nothing to do with her. lana is hesitant to relay the message to Jason and tells lana where she will be staying in smallville. clark goes to chloe to say that he went to go see lionel about lex. clark goes on lionel’s lead and finds the unidentified car that probably belongs to the unidentified woman. chloe does not believe that lionel has changed and clark insists that something has changed him. looking up information about the car they find an address to an owner in metropolis, eve andrews. clark and chloe also find out that one night stands are a habit of lex’s by looking at his legal history in which all the complaints by women were dropped thanks to luthorcorp attorneys. clark superspeeds to the metropolis address and breaks into the house. some of the house walls have pictures and photos of lex like some kind of dedication shrine. ( similar to “shimmer” but larger ) clark is surprised to find lex over there burning some of the photos of himself that the girl had. clark wants to know what lex is doing there burning evidence and lex wants to know what clark is doing there. seconds later there are sirens in the distance and lex realizes that the police have been called. lex turns to clark and asks him to help him.

lex and clark are back at the mansion and clark wants to know what lex was doing destroying evidence. lex insists that he is did not kill her and lex wants to know how he got the address. clark does not say and clark asks how he got the address. lex says that his lawyer got a lead on an address from a lawyer. lex wanted to find out about her and was surprised to find out that she was a stalker but he had never met her before the fund raiser. lex thinks it is his father who is still out to get him. lionel knew all about lex’s history with stalkers and disgruntled women from the luthorcorp legal database. lex tells clark not to trust his father even though it appears that he is helping. clark goes to chloe and says that he does not really trust lex or lionel. chloe is able to retrieve a videotape of lex and eve making out in the elevator. chloe tells clark to notice that eve has two diamond earrings when she is stepping onto the elevator, while they are making out on the elevator minutes later she only has one. chloe makes the conclusion that one of the earrings feel while they were making out. then chloe shows clark a picture of the dead women and the police report and it says and show that she was wearing two diamond earrings. they both conclude that lex was with two different women.

lex’s lawyer says that things are not looking good for him. lex is still convinced that it is his father out to get him. his lawyer tells him that the reason that she was stalking him is because they slept together several months ago and she became obsessed. she wants to know how lex did not remember her. lex explains that he does not always catch names or remember faces. clark and chloe try to “reenact” the elevator scene with lex and eve. they both think that the earring feel down an elevator crack. clark uses a combination of telescopic and x ray vision to find the earring all the way at the bottom of the elevator floor shaft. clark goes to lionel with the earring and says that it was a habit of his to send a pair of diamond earrings to a girl that he had spent the night with. lionel says lex is carrying on the tradition. they both conclude that the women in the elevator was a women from lex’s past. lex goes to his lawyer’s office to see what she wanted. he finds her dead and the mp3 from the fund raiser playing nearby. then the sound of a gun clicking makes lex turn around. lex sees one of luthorcorp’s female law firm employees pointing a gun at him. lex wants to know what is going on and the women asks lex if he does not recognize her. she then glocks lex with the handgun and he passes out.

smallville 04-09: bound ( part two )

lex wakes up to find himself tied up to a chair in his mansion office. the women is there also. she is of course a luthorcorp employee and explained to his mansion staff that he had had to much to drink and they helped her carry him up. the women explains that that room is where she “earned her earrings”. the women explains that she left her fiancé for him and then he wanted nothing to do with him. she bumps into him three months later outside of his attorney’s office ( dead lawyer’s office ) and he did not even recognize her. she then found eve through the luthorcorp database. she told eve that lex wanted to meet her again and that is why she went to the fund raiser that night. lex did not recognize her either. she framed lex for the murder and called the police wanting lex to get caught when he was at eve andrews house. jason and lana talk about jason’s mother. he tells her that she can not be trusted and is always out to control him and everything about his life. lana tells jason about her dreaming about his mother before he met her. clark and chloe are back at the torch looking over the earring. the earring has a serial number and with the help of lionel they are able to find out that that pair of diamond earrings was “issued” to a shannon bell. clark recognizes the name because she is a luthorcorp employee. chloe calls the police and clark superspeeds to lex’s mansion.

shannon is pretty upset at this point and points out that if lex had just recognized her that day outside of the office that things would be different. she is upset that they slept together again and she did not even recognize her. as she is explaining to him how he ruined her life, she is pouring bottles of wine on him and around him in a circle. when she is finished she lights a match and the a circle of fire emanates around him. lex looks like he is about to be cooked when clark busts threw the door and pushes shannon away and runs to the fire. he talks off his jacket and begins circling around the fire waving his jacket in the air really fast. he is able to put out the fire completely and escapes before shannon slams against a wall and lex realizes the fire has been put out.

clark and his parents are talking back at the house. clark is not sure what to think about lex and his inherited habits. clark also tells his parents that he went to go see lionel. clark’s parents are shocked and he says that he could not have helped lex without this help. clark says that lionel is completely healed and believes that lionel has changed. jonathan asks if lionel suspects him and clark says no. lionel believes what happen to him was some sort of miracle. jonathan explains that lionel will never change and lex will not either. lex goes to see lionel in prison and is impressed with him and his influence. lex realizes that lionel had nothing to do with him being framed and lex believes that lionel wants something in return. lex says that he will not helped him get released and lionel tells lex that that is not what he wants. lionel tells lex that he has changed and wants him to give him a chance to be his father. lex knows that lionel is healed and tells lionel not to expect another miracle.

lex goes to clark’s loft to thank him. clark asks him how long is this going to go on. clark feels that he can not trust lex and lex explains that he has no idea why he keeps going on sometimes. lex also explains that when the fire was around him and he thought he was going to die that he was happy. lex felt that his death would save the world a lot of grief. but when the fire was put out that maybe it was some kind of second chance. clark explains that with his father being more honest with him that lex, that in the past few days it felt as if they were not friends but enemies instead. lex tells clark not to give up on him yet.

jason goes to see his mother and tells her to stay away from him and lana. it appears that jason’s mother is semi-obsessed with lana and tells him that he only wants what is best for him. jason finds his mother’s dialogue strange and asks what she knows about lana. it appears that jason’s mother has messed with jason’s life and past relationships in order for jason to met and be with lana. jason’s mother leaves jason behind wondering what she is actually doing in smallville.

the good:

okay i will be honest. i was kind of disappointed with this episode. i thought it was going to be a really good episode. i guess i should focus on what was good about the episode though. clark and chloe working together to solve this mystery was cute and fun to watch. chloe could have just looked for the earring on the elevator floor but it was fun to watch get her hands on clark. clark going to lionel for help was interesting. it has worked better in the past though. martha and jonathan kent did a really good job as usual. although the whole jason and lana sub storyline really does not appeal to me, jason did a good job on his part. lana's dream/nightmare sequence was pretty good too. the special effects especially when clark was putting out the fire were aweome. other than that though...

the bad:

*sigh* okay. i can not speak for everybody but this episode did not peak my interest in the slightest. i kind of expect a major step in the rift of clark and lex's friendship. but it just seems like any other episode. we really did not learn anything new about lex or any other character that would have made this episode worth it. jason's mother did a good job as acting as jason's bad mother but i really do not care the slightest about her. this episode seemed like a really basic filler episode. by the time it was almost over i really could care less who was trying to frame/kill lex. and lionel not remembering what happen between him and clark and rubbing things off as a miracle? what the?! maybe he is just lying about it so i guess that would basically mean that he really has not changed. it would have been better if lionel did remember and he claimed that he has changed. kind of like him deciding to keep clark's secret even though that is what he has been after for almost two years. basically i felt like i had been ripped off. this episode could have been so much better. i was expecting the darkness inside of lex to be more obvious and noticable to clark. the only person who really noticed was lionel. this episode was kind of boring. it could have been worse i guess.

okay it is not like me to post any rumors or rumor spoilers for smallville like some people. ( i will not say any names... ) but when i found out about this rumor i just had to post it. it is not anything big ( which is why i decided to post about this since it does not necessarily effect anything or spoil anything about the season ) but i think it is kind of interesting.

if it is true, what do you think about smallville's latest resident?

the rumor is that this season's thirteenth or fourteenth episode is entitled "krypto" which is the name of superdog. i heard this rumor from two different sources but one of the sources said that the directors were looking for an "animal expert" for this particular episode.

sorry if this ruined anything for anybody. it is still just a rumor and half of the rumors i read about never come true anyway, if that helps.

the ctmuar report: november fourteen two thousand four

yeah it is finally here. my comics to movies updates and rumors ( ctmuar ) report! sorry i took so long but college is a huge pain in the sense of taking up all my spare time. this is the first of many rumors and updates that i will be posting about your favorite comics turned movies. some of the comics turned movies and comic movie sequels that i will be posting information today and in the future incluce:

iron man

as of this november the iron man movie has no directors so the goal of an early two thousand six ( 2006 ) release seems be a little out of the question. the actors that might play tony stark/iron man at first included either tom cruise, rob lowe, or nicholas cage. tom cruise and nicholas cage have not yet expressed any new official interest in playing the role. rob lowe seems like the marvel’s and angry film’s number one pick as of early this november. iron man fans will be pleased to know that tony stark’s friend jim rhodes ( also known as the man who replaced tony stark as iron man for a brief period of time and later became war machine ) and bethany cabe will be in the movie. iron man’s nemesis? at first the it was set to be the mandarin but know it is said to be tony stark’s own father howard stark.

ghost rider

nicholas cage is still the top pick to play ghost rider. even though he has be interested in the role since the directors first came to him over three years ago, cage wants everyone to know that his decision to play the ghost rider is not set in stone. filming for ghost rider is set to begin early next year. clayton watson is set to be in the ghost rider movie but as to what role he will play is still unknown.

the punisher two

after turning down the role as the frank castle twice for the punisher two, thomas jane has had a change of heart and agreed to do a sequel. the punisher two begins where the first movie ended except in another city. the sequel is set to have more action and explosions than the first punisher and the beginning of the movie starts off like the last fight scene in the sense of action, gunfire, and explosions. who frank castle/the punisher face of against this time? rumors are none other than marvel’s very own jigsaw who might be played be michael keaton. filming starts early next year.

superman v

in case some of you have been living in a cave the past few weeks, then you should know that clark kent/superman is set to be played by brandon routh. for those of you having heart attack because tom welling was not cast as clark kent, get over it. welling has never expressed any interest in playing clark kent in the new superman movie. besides if welling was to play clark kent in the new superman movie then smallville would have to be put on hiatus until the superman movie was finished being filmed. the directors say that this will be the first of three films in which the third film will have a superman/batman theme. ( the directors said that they would try to push the last two superman sequels to have a superman/batman theme but that the third superman movie will definitely include batman )

for those of you that were looking forward to superman facing off against brainiac, well guess what? brainiac is not going to be who superman will be facing off against. jude law is “most likely” set to play general zod. at first rumors were that jude law would have a small role in the new superman movie as john corben, which might suggest that this would be who superman would be facing against in the sequel to this superman movie. ( for your information; john corben is known for the man who later becomes metallo ) rumors now are that john corben is not even going to be featured in the new superman movie, but this still does not knock the idea of john corben appearing in the new superman movie sequel. the top pick for lex luthor is kevin spacey and the top pick for lois lane is natalie portman who has been the top pick for lois lane for almost three years now. and this is a highly suspicious rumor but jor-el is set to maybe be played by michael gambon. also shawn ashmore who is no stranger to smallville fans because he played eric summers in "leech" and "asylum" on smallville is the lead pick for jimmy olsen in the new superman movie. but anyway if you ask me i feel that erica durance would make a great lois lane. man, she is hot! *sizzle*

batman begins

yeah the new batman movie is almost upon us. the film is set to be released in early june of next year. i know that i told some of you that rutger hauer would be playing morgan edge in the new batman movie like he did in smallville but i guess i was wrong. well technically the sources were wrong but you know. it looks like more and more like tom welling will not be in the new batman movie. tom wellling expressed that he had not interest in playing clark kent/superman in the new superman movie but he did say that he did have some kind of “ role” in an upcoming big movie or hinted at it in an interview. since then the rumors and fingers of the comic movie industry have been pointing at the new batman movie. i will post more information about this as it become available. in the meantime, here is the cast of the new batman begins movie.

smallville 04-08: spell

i was actually quite suprised by the week's episode of smallville. following smallville's previous track record for magic related ( themed ) episodes ( redux, jinx ), i can honestly say that the curse is broken! "spell" was very good. i was really suprised because from last week's trailer i expected it to be a little corny and maybe a small hint of sleeziness.

what happen?

okay this episode starts off with three witches being burned alive for witchcraft in france. the leader named isabelle looks just like lana and before they are burned lana casts one more spell that will allow her to be born again in a host that is chosen ( lana basically ) when she is reunited with a spell book. several years later lana buys the book on ebay and is with jason sharing information when she becomes possessed by isabelle.

lois is back in town and finds clark to help her set up chloe's birthday party. lana begins gathering things to make some kind of potion and lois finds her and is upset that lana did not take chloe so everyone else could set up the suprise party. lana then goes to clark to get a strand of virgin hair ( she needs at least two and she gets one from herself but was "unable" to get one from lois ) she tries to cut clark's hair and the scissors break! clark give lana a strand of his hair and she leaves. she then goes to lex to get some wine and when she sees the manuscript with the map hidden underneath she makes the map disappear and puts a spell on lex to play the piano indefinetly.

lana resurrects her two witch followers back into lois and chloe's bodies with the wine potion and go to chloe's birthday party. clark and jason start suspecting something and when the three of them get bored the cast a spell over the party to make it more "fun". clark was supose to meet a representative of a university there and is suprised to find clark dancing in his boxers among other scantily clad individuals at the party. clark wakes up the next morning half naked in his barn with others from the party and realizes what has transpired. clark goes to lex and to help him get pack on the right track with the college reprsentative and finds lex still playing the piano since yesterday! his hands are all bloodly along with the piano keys! lex is very exhausted and is barely able to tell clark that it was lana. jason confronts lana about the book and lana not acting like herself and she throws jason out the window and clark super speeds and saves the day. lana leaves a message telling clark to be at the barn.

clark is confronted and attacked by lana, chloe, and lois and he has to use all of his abilities to defend himself. with the help of chloe and lois, lana strips clark of his powers. lana knows that clark knows the whereabouts of at least one of the kryptonian crystals and is able to find out ( with the help of a little magic ) that the first crystal is inside a chamber in the cave wall. jason finds clark tied up in the barn and asks if he knew where they went. clark acts like he does not know and sends jason on a decoy mission and heads for the cave.

lana, chloe, and lois find the chamber in the cave and lana is about to take the kryptonian crystal when clark shows up he is still not recovered from their attack. but he has back up. no not jason, he has a shotgun! lois waves the gun out of his hands and picks up the kryptonian crystal but then it burns her hand and she tosses it and clark catches it. his powers are restored and he uses his heat vision and burns the book. there is a bright explosion and all four of them wake up outside the cave wall chamber back in the "main" ( ? ) cave room. lana, chloe, and lois do not remember and can not account for what has happen the past few days ( hours ). clark acts like he has no idea what is going on of course.

jonathan and martha confront clark about the mess ( undergarments from the after party ) is the barn. clark tries to explain what happen and tells him that magic can hurt him. lex goes to check on lana and after a short conversation lex reveals that it was him and not clark that got jason fired. lana wants nothing to do with lex now and she goes to clark and give another "your secrets, my secrets" apology. lana explains to clark what happen in paris with that tattoo ( i forgt to mention this above but jason also told clark a little about it when he untied him in the barn ) and lana knows that clark knows more about the caves than anyone and she askes clark if he know what the symbol on her back means ( it is still there ) and he says that he recognizes it from one of the cave walls but he does not know what it means.

the good:

great episode. the acting was sincere and believable. the facial expressions on most of the characters and the scenes were presented in a great fashionable order. the special effects were good as usuall. this episode reestablishes clark and lana's friendship or speaking terms, whatever you want call it. this is good. it helps for a better transition for the whole show. i was suprised by this episode. i honestly thought it was not going to be that good. everything in the episode was well explained and left no intentionally unanswered questions. there were a few small glitches but nothing major. great episode. lois was awesome! you know she is my wife, right? she just does not know it yet that is all. i liked it when possessed lois grabbed her boobs and you could see some jeaslousy in lana's face. that was great! i got some emails about this so i thought i would answer them here:

( q ) what does the symbol on lana's back stand for? ( a ) it stands for "water" ( see transference 04-06 )

( q ) how did lana, chloe, lois, and clark end up outside the cave wall chamber? ( a ) it was jor-el. seriously.

( q ) did they get choe's age wrong? ( a ) yeah they did. she should be turning seventeen. ( see crusade 04-02 )

( q ) was that lex really playing the piano? ( a ) i would say no. if you look closely it does not really appear that lex is really playing the piano. but i know that micheal ( the actor who plays lex ) does have a band and can play a variety of instruments so i can not say that i am absolutely sure.

( q ) what happen to the manuscript/hidden map? ( a ) lana just made it disappear. it makes sense that she destroyed it though. the manuscript has served its purpose. clark has it memorized and lex has the hidden map image already saved. ( see run 04-05 )

the bad:

the episode was not as corny as i thought it would. the scene with lana, chloe, and lois at the party using their powers seemed a little cheesy. and then there was clark dancing. yeah um... no! i thought i could not dance, man! hopefully that is something that the writers will never put us through. at first it was funny then it was just... no comment. but seriously i am just overexaggerating. some parts of the party scene could have been better but it did not really bother me. what lana said in transference ( 04-06 ) about witches and how this episode started off did kind of confuse me a little. i also thought that it would have not better if isabelle did not look exactly like lana. this confusion could have definetly been avioded. other than this i did not really notice anything else worth mentioning. that and i am kind of in a hurry today. a lot of things to do.

smallville tonight!

today is wednesday and that means that i have to work tonight. *sigh* but is also means that a new episode of smallville airs tonight. yeah! from last week's preview it does not seem as good as some of the episodes in the past but i have been wrong before. in this episode lana, chloe, and lois get possessed by witches who were burned at the stake several years ago.

smallville 04-06: jinx

okay this week's episode of smallville entitled "jinx" was... okay. i was expecting a different version of mister mxyzptlk than the one presented in this week's smallville. i was sort of disappointed in mister mxyzptlk. there was of course good and bad but overall it was a good episode.

what happen? ( i know it seems long but that is because i included conversations from this week's episode )

makail mxyzptlk is a foregin exchange student brought over from another country ( not exactly sure which one ) thanks to lionel luthor's foregin exchance student program. lionel luthor had mxyzptlk already registered to come to smallville before he was found guilty and sent to prison. lionel luthor found mxyzptlk "interesting". in smallville, mxyzptlk starts running a gambling business at smallville high and has a habit of winning since he can control the outcome of the game with "magical commands". chloe wants to expose him and he tries to persuade her at first then threatens her to keep quiet. clark ends up injuring another football player during a game because mxyzptlk commands clark to trip and clark slams into another guy. jonathan and martha want clark to exclude himself from the championship game becuase of this and the coaches start suspecting clark is on steriods. clark and chloe figure out how to "jam" mxyzptlk commands so clark decides to play in the championship game. jonathan and clark have a meaningfull father son talk and jonathan trusts clark and his decision to play in the game.

chloe uses some kind of military jamming signal device during the football game and mxyzptlk can not use his powers. mxyzptlk finds out that chloe is using this to stop him and he can not use his powers to kill her. he threatens clark to throw the game or he will kill her. clark throws the last pass and superspeeds to stop mxyzptlk and save chloe and returns to the football field just in time to get sacked. the crows win the game and chloe is safe once again.

the now powerless mxyzptlk is taken arrested but lex somehow gets him out and takes him to a special level called level thirty three point one ( 33.1 ) and as lex and mxyzptlk are in the elevator:

lex: i think you will find your new accomendations a lot more comfortable than county lock up.

mxyzptlk: and where are you taking me?

lex: don't worry. you are going to have a lot of company.

lex: *chuckles* you underestimate the value of my winnings

mxyzptlk: i told you mister luthor i've lost my talent

lex: makail if there is one things i've learned, it's that anything lost can be found again.

mxyzptlk: if you knew that i had a special talent then why did you bet against me?

lex: i didn't. i bet on clark kent.

there is a silence as they arrive on level thirty three point one. the elevator doors open and there is a bright white light coming from the level ( room? rooms? ) lex looks pleased and mxyzptlk has got that look on his face like, "oh snap what are they going to do to me?"

clark goes to lana to find jason so clark can thank him for trusting him and everything. clark seems to have trouble finding him. lana informs him that jason has been fired and is disappointed that clark could not keep their relationship a secret. clark rushes over to lex's mansion and asks him how he could betray he confidence like that. lex basically tells clark that jason is not meant to be with lana:

lex: clark i'd hate to see lana's infatuation earn her a scarlet lettter around town.

clark: well she has you to thank for that now. cause you and i were the only ones who knew about it. now everybody is talking.

lex: *lex remains silent*

clark: but you didn't do this to protect her.

lex: you know that lana isn't meant to be with jason.

clark: maybe a year ago i would have believed that you got *something* out of some twisted loyalty for being my friend. but you didn't do this for me. why did you do it?

*something* = i could not make out what he was saying. it sounde like "something fight something".

lex: *remains silent and smiles*

the good:

"jinx" had its moments. clark superspeeding from and to the field during the middle of the championship game, lex and mxyzptlk's last conversation, jonathan and clark's mature conversation scenes, lex as usual did not disappoint, and the ending was great. clark kent/superman has always been vulnerable to magic in the comcis so it seemed interesting how the writers would use this "law" to apply to smallville. it has not worked well in the past. does anybody remember "redux"? if you do not, then you are lucky. worst episode of smallville... ever! and next week's episode of smallville deals with magic as well. let us just hope that in the smallville world that magic does not equal pattern. otherwise....

but anyway "overall" this episode was okay. i wish that mxyzptlk would have been more interesting. he just seemed so... common for someone who has such a powerful gift. everyone else did a really good job though. even lana. i know, i am as shocked as you are!

the bad:

mxyzptlk. he was the theme of the episode and he lack of more character seemed to drag this episode down. i could go on and one about how mxyzptlk's character could have been incorpated better into this episode ( really i could ) but you know me. basically this transformation of annoying interdimensional dc comic villian to well just... annoying teenager from another country did not go well. the fact that chloe figured out how to stop mxyzptlk so easily bother me also. also even though sam lane is her uncle and he could lend her a military signal blocker ( which someone told me was illegal to operate and even own in some states ) it seems so... "quick mix" like. besides everyone knows that you have to pronounce mxyzptlk's name backwards ( or spell, i have heard ) three times in order to send him back to the dimensional void from which he came. right?

favorite lines?

jonathan tries explain to clark that there is more to life than football and championship games.

clark: dad when i put on that uniform, it's like i forget who i am but at the same time i have never known myself better.

life is great. sure i have homework up the wazoo ( that is what you get for going to college ) and i have already started my christmas shopping which means i can not buy stuff for myself right now but life is great.

i am finally getting back in shape. i have not been able to work out as much because school is hectic and the massive amounts of homework i am assigned does not help but i am managing a work out schedule which i think will work. a few more weeks ( maybe even less than that ) and i might be back to the shape i was in high school. normally i just work on my abs in the summer and bulk up in the winter but i might try to work in the both together since i have been on a new work out schedule that seems to be working a little better than my last one.

i have finally got past a part i was stuck in my novel. it took me forever to figure out what to do but i took a break for a few weeks and it just came to me. now i can continue on. yeah!

my birthday is this weekend which means i will be nineteen. ( for the ladies older than me that means that i am legal now by another year ) my family has been giving me these riddles and hints at what they got me and it is making me crazy. not even the riddler could figure out what they got me. i guess i will have to wait and see what happens.

for you smallville fans keep watching! i should have my review of "jinx" either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. you have to see for yourselves what will transpire in the next few weeks. shocking? yes! mind blowing? yes! the return of my wife? oh yeah!

an old friend of mine asked if i would not mind going on a blind date with someone she knew. uh oh. this can either go okay or realy really bad. but she said that we really had a lot in common like working out and she is writing a novel of her own! has ruben lb found his soul mate? ...probably not but it might be fun, you never know. i still have not said yes to this blind date though.

someone suggested this ( sorry i forgot your name ) and i think it is great idea. stay tuned to my journal for rumors and updates about your favorite comics turned movies. this updates and rumors will include information on ghost rider, iron man, x men, superman, captain america, doctor strange, the punisher, the fantastic four, and others.

and finally guess who has been emailing a future playboy playmate? me! i can not help but brag but she is a really really nice and beautiful women and i met her husband a few months ago and he is a really nice guy. they are a really great couple. and she might be writing a autobiography!

i do not think that i have ever used the word "really" so many times. i wonder how many times i used the word "really" up there?
