It blew my mind ever since we first seen it and the onine beta is just keeping me happy for a few more days before the release of this huge release. I just cant wait to finish this last mission with snake because im making sure snake goes out with a Big Bang Attack, lol. :)clintos59

For sure the ending will be one for the books, one for history. Each Metal Gear/Solid game has an amazing ending. I am just glad that I am still here with the series. Beginning it back as a kid and I feel that I have grown along with Snake.

For us really big fans of the series, MGS4 is like prom. We all will be playing the game the first day almost non-stop, just to spend one last time with Snake. Only to say good-bye at the end and part ways...for now.

Im sure it will be a good, Im also sure it will be over hyped and bragged about just like every sony exclusive. Cows are at a new low this gen. They over hype everything to the max the is ps3 exclusive. LBP anyone? That game looks like it took a play out of the wii hand book.lolkie_81

This is Metal Gear Solid 4. This is totally different. This is the last Metal Gear Solid game.

METAL GEAR SOLID 4, not Little Big Planet.

This series is legendary. It all began back in the days of Mario, and will finish off now, this year on the PS3. We are now four or five gaming generations after Metal Gears beginning. This series isn't always hyped for no reason. the last game of the series isn't being praised as the second coming of Jesus for no reason. This is...

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

This has been a Sony production.

Graphics its up in the air.

Story will kill me probably.

kool-aids

I hope I get that same feeling of accomplishment I got when I beat MGS2. That game was so epic in story, graphics, and game-play. Everything was so polished in deapth. Each boss had a backstory. That made the game great, and then when you near the end and you have to...

(SPOILERZ)

Fight all of those Metal Gear Rays, I almost pissed my pants. You only have to fight one in the first Metal Gear Solid and then you must face multiples. Then when you do that you just feel so fantastic, like you can take on the world. Metal Gear Solid 4 has to be better than MGS2 and by a lot for me. I don't get too excited over many video games these days, but MGS4 is the one.

Am I the only PS3 owner who doesn't care for Killzone 2, because the first one was beyond terrible. Horrible camera and game-play. The game-play was supposed to be the big thing about the game, but it was just so limited.

After all the development put into the game it better blow my mind. Also, they better tie up all the loose ends or I will break something.

Mario Baseball is a bad game now? Oh lawd, shall I direct you to the 8.0 score on GS?

Eponique

Gamespot scores don't matter. I learned this a long time ago and I thought other people were just beginning to realize this.

This is how I know that I am not a Sony fanboy... I don't think Killzone 2 will be anything special. I am not wasting time putting false hope in a game that had such a horrible predicessor. The first Killzone was total trash and me believing that makes me totally unbiased tbqh. (imo)

Sorry, but you had to see it coming after it was announced that Killzone 2 has been pushed back to 2009. My only question is if Sony was scared Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 would have taken sales from each other, wouldn't it make more sense to get the stronger product out during the holiday season rather than Resistance? I would have pushed Resistance 2 back and given it more time get it at Killzone 2's level.

What do you guys think? Would you have done the same, or had them go head to head, giving yourself potentially less sales but still creating one of those legendary holiday seasons like pc/360 '07 & pc '98, or would u have switched roles, pushing the stronger title out first?

Here's what really matters. The first Killzone was a terrible, terrible game and I expect the second to be just as terrible or one less terrible thrown in to catch the amount of fail the series is. There is only one reason this game keeps getting delayed, it's terrible. They don't want to release Killzone 2 and be embarassed.

The first Resistance was a solid game. The second Resistance will be a solid game.

Resistance series > Killzone .

I actually like the first killzone and psp killzone and so do others. So nice opinion there buddy.

Killzone and Killzone Liberation haven't even sold a million copies put together. i think it's nice.

[QUOTE="Sgt_Grig"]

GT should out sell Mario Rehash # 79

hiho24

You cant compare every mario game to one small racing series. But lets compare the number of Mario Kart and the Gran Turismo games...

Super Mario Kart --------------- Gran Turismo
Mario Kart 64 ------------------- Gran Turismo 2
Mario Kart Super Circuit ------- Gran Turismo 3
Mario Kart Double Dash ------- Gran Turismo 4
Mario Kart DS ------------------ Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Mario Kart Wii ------------------ Gran Turismo 5

6 games on each side... hmmmmmmmmm......... oh and lets not forget the upcoming Gran Turismo for PSP. oh and Gran Turismo for Boys.

With the release of GT mobile and GT5 there will actually be about 9 or 10 GT games tbqh.

[QUOTE="RazMaTaz-1"][QUOTE="air_wolf_cubed"][QUOTE="ryuisill81"]

[QUOTE="fakkhead"]Score better? Yes
Sell better? HELL NO
air_wolf_cubed

GT - 10,000,000 + sold

GT2 - 9,000,000 + sold

GT3 - 14,500,000 + sold

GT4 - 9,000,000 + sold

SMK - 8,500,000 + sold

MK64 - 9,500,000 + sold

MKwii - 3,500,500 + sold

Thanks VGCharts for the info.

This really should be interesting to see which sales the most.

cause we all know MKWii is done selling after 1 month

care to share the sale numbers of previous MKs?

Yeah like Mario Kart DS which sold 10.43 million according to your same source and you purposely left out to claim ownage? You sir..

No, I left it out because it is not a console game. It is a handheld game, and seeing that there is no handheld GT game out then it would be unfair. Well, not really seeing that no handheld Mario Kart game hase even sold the amount of GT3.
