@Atomic1977: Stray released on other platforms, list for switch games, like unicorn overlord for example that isnt on this list or mario luigi brothership, it had excellent combat and such sweet writting, you are rooting for connie the lovable wattanist.
I would still have added mario wonder on this list even tho it released at the end of last year.
The cannon ending left ciri as empress, why they went this way. By the time witcher 3 ends monsters were all but gone and the fact that he defeated the wildhunt reduced monster influence even further.
This sound like some BS daughter vs daddy emperor main campaign plot. Blegh
Would have preferred a prequel with vesemir, he mentioned that in the previous century a lot of thing happened.
I have sink about 10 hours into it, its meant for anime fans, nothing groundbreaking, the limitations of day/night activities are meant to create a timewall padding to add artificially tens of extra gameplay hours, combat was bland as veilguard combat. Stack weakness to get extra turns, avoid the same for your party, repeat.
Japanese voice acting is great, walking around the city and reading folk talking to each other is entertaining.
There werent really goty games this year, Indiana is the goty and its brand new.
Other games like FFXVI or FF7 are phased out, one is a year late, the other releases for PC next year.
@joecollin: Not to mention that all the replayability will come from playing seasonal content so any amount of time you sink into the game will evaporate every few months.
This game feels strangely like it was meant to be VR and they change their minds or maybe they will release a VR patch down the line.
Still havent made it far but just taking my time to explore the museum and reading the flyers and museum exhibits, there is a lot of care and love into stage level design.
The Vram usage tho is trough the roof. Cant deny everything looks beautiful and playing with headphones definitely improve the immersion.
@gameboy8877: I dont know if people were trolling at the time but i recall reading about 30k people refunded the game in the first week and the game didnt pass 100k on a single day on steam.
With those numbers am guessing they sold what? 200k units? Even ubisoft outlaws can say they passed the million units and even then ubisoft said it failed to meet expectations since 1 million units its only 70 million. So yea... ill leave you to do the math on veilguard...
@gameboy8877: Should tell that to EA investors or the people at bioware who are going to lose their job in january. Because mass effect will take the full brunt of veilguard flop.
