After seeing the gameplay from POE 2, it felt copy paste from POE. One hit mechanics from bosses also got moved to POE 2. We still going to need to do crazy stuff to get 6 linked gems.
And how are they going to juggle POE development, this means that they are going to cut leagues by half for sure. Otherwise both games would suffer. Not to mention that chris leaves GGG on 2020 then the game is run fully by tencent, despite of what the white knights would argue.
At least all my mtx and stash will be usable on the new client.
@aross2004: I havent played it, but you cant make the cop cars crash?, i remember one NFS when you could bump them to incoming cars or the side of the road, are they invincible?
Whining about character development.. gimme a break...
I guess if the reviewer watch the spaghetti trilogy from clint eastwood, he would gave it a 4 because the name of the main character is never revealed or his background explained.
@mogan: Yes, but if they go into that rabbit hole, then they will have the few that pvp complaining they should be rewarded for doing so. Then you will have them complaining that the rewards dont make PVP a worthy endeavour.
Just look at how crucible works on destiny or the dark zones on division. No matter what the devs do those small minorities are always complaining that the rewards are not enough, and on Division 2 to make weapons mods balanced for PVP they got completely destroyed on PVE.
Wasting time and resources trying to cash in on PVP is a bad decision, it just doesnt work on ARPG, it works on mobas and thats it. They break skills just to have them fit into PVP.
They really need to do some market testing and maybe sell some sort of PVP mode to people, that should give them specific numbers to know if its worth it or not.
PVP is complete garbage on POE and that game dedicated a specific patch just to try to make PVP viable and even the devs there said it was a bad idea.
@cboye18: On destiny you never saw what somebody else was getting. Nor it affected your own gameplay session. Even borderlands 3 has its own loot setting if you want a free for all you can set it at the start of the session or instanced loot.
There isnt a torchlight 3, they are making also an online torchlight and grim dawn 2 is a pipe dream with how long grim dawn took on development. Might as well stick to POE on the long run.
By now with POE being the beacon of ARPGs, i have no problem with being online just hoping it wont have peak times in which ping makes the game have connectivity issues.
I skipped D3, this one will get 100 bucks from me based on what i have seen so far.
