@timthegem: Why are you so insecure? They aren't trying to make themselves feel special. They're probably just relaying as much info as possible to put things into context or perspective. Detail is their job.
Please implement Achievements, carts, screenshots, etc, Epic, so I can go back to buying games regularly on EGS. I'm all for supporting you guys, but you aren't making it easy.
I played Nier: Automata on PC a couple years ago and it was unbearable at the time (as the current Automata news is reminding us), and just got the first ending and quit. However, given the current review bomb news, I realized I have new hardware since I last played Automata. So I decided to re-install, see if it runs better, and finish up the "full experience" if possible. And I am glad I did. No 3rd-party mod needed this time and I got Ending E and actually shed a tear how profoundly beautiful the moment was.
Automata was already one of my favorite games, just after Ending A. But now that I experienced the "full" game, I'm tempted to put it in Top 10 range for me. Regardless. I am excited for Replicant. Hopefully they gave it some better QOL features (I know it won't have autosaves likely, but I am hoping for custom controls, which the original lacked).
@mathandr: Plus it wasn't even the same Nier. The Western Nier back in 2010 is different than the Japanese Nier in 2010. Which is what Replicant is remaking/remastering.
But hey, ppl like @tbird7586 gonna do what they do.
Just now seeing this. Came here for indie games and I guess it didn't have "indie" in the title at first? lol.
Anyway, a ton of games on here I want to play. However, for 2021, I am limiting myself to whatever indie games will be on Game Pass for PC. Luckily, I'd presume at least 20 of these will be!
Jeez, gonna be hard for me to resist non-Game Pass for PC games (my goal, to only buy "musts" and rely on Game Pass for PC for my games. But Nier Replicant, GGSt, P5S are ones I doubt will be on Game Pass for PC and are as close to "musts" as possible for me. Same for 12 Minutes, Chorus, STALKER 2, Sable, Gotham Knights, Ghostwire Tokyo, and Deathloop! Tho since STALKER 2, 12 Mins, and Sable are XB-only, maybe they'll be on Game Pass for PC, too...
So far, sounds like this game is suffering from a weak journey to a hopefully great destination. The endgame is what I really care about. Slogging through the campaign to get there, I can tolerate hopefully.
But early reviews are praising the combat and loot, and those are the 2 most important things in this game. So...the slog should be pretty easy to tolerate.
