@imanmilo It's like BioShock Infinite incarnate. Orth is Comstock and all the internet children are the Vox Populi rising up. But as BioShock Infinite showed, both are the same irrational, uncontrollable idiots undeserving of getting their way.
@WCK619 The addiction thing only applies to a very small minority. And it isn't DIRECTLY bad to anyone's health (unless you have epilepsy), so it isn't like the F2P model is unethical or anything. Plus not all F2P models are the same - you're generalizing them to be.
And if you REALLY want to understand others, particularly those whom you disagree with or argue against, you must put yourself in their shoes (or else you'll most likely end up being narrow-minded and biased, possibly even bigoted). So you have to think like a suit who doesn't actually make the games! lol. Of course they don't make the games, but in their minds, it's still THEIR product, their work. BioWare made ME3, sure. But in the EA suits' eyes, it's EA's product, therefore their work. I'm not saying it's right, but I can almost certainly say that's how the general businessperson thinks - "I paid for this work to be completed, so I'm part of the work process." So yes, to them, it is their work.
@berserker66666 Shadows of the Damned (really Grasshopper Manufacture...), a few FIFA and PopCap games. Ok, I admit my previous statement is skewed a bit, but all those games got the EA stamp on them... =D
@berserker66666 weird. Last few EA games I've played didn't have DRM, microtransactions or day-1 DLC, and were pretty well-designed. Guess I got a bad batch!
