@lildozer74 umm...the Communist revolutions in China and Vietnam and Cambodia were less than 50 years ago. Lots of "guilty by association" killing in those cases. And it worked, to either get their way or inspire the other side even more.
Did anyone even read the article? Behemoth isn't even really DEFENDING MS (another misleading title by Eddie Makuch! What a surprise!). They just said they won't rip MS and they're focusing on trying to make good games rather than divide the industry.
@Gallowhand I can almost certainly guarantee that if a publisher's finances were absolutely stupendous, then this type of "controlling" wouldn't exist. The publisher has to address the financial issue in some way. Easiest is to first blame the pirates. Then it's like a snowball effect from there.
@awhite33 agreed. But sometimes the only way to punish the guilty is to punish everyone. Has happened numerous times throughout history. Is it right? No. But it has great potential to be very effective.
@Shenmue_Jehuty agreed. His headlines definitely tend to be more propaganda-ish in nature, trying to stir up some kind of unnecessary reaction for one side or another.
