@Trickymaster clearly there IS something wrong w/ it. A lot of fans are being turned off by the high output of games published in the series. Quality isn't the issue (although I personally thought AC3 was one of the poorest of the series, gameplay-wise). The issue is the series potentially becoming redundant, uninnovative, and a simple cash grab. Which is especially hypocritical after the lead dev at Ubisoft constantly ripping on AAA developers.
They're a business, they have every right to do w/ their product as they please to get more money. Doesn't mean there's "nothing wrong with that."
@CP2077 @saint311 I just don't like the fact that, imo, they seem to have got worse and worse since AC2. AC3 had some great extra features like the naval missions (gee, wonder what AC4 will include a lot of?), but the base gameplay was just...frustrating. Moreso than ever before.
I remember when the AC lead dev guy said they don't make AAA titles. Yet they still make these progressively worse, big budget, highly rated games once a year...
