There's this unioncalled La union de amigos, which I wonder if anyone's heard of. This is union does not even properly exist. There r inly 3 members and a 4th member is still pending. I joined this union as a charter member and since the founder resignrd leadership, I've benn auto-promoted to the post. I m not intersted in leadership right now, either. What do u guys think i should do?

This is getting even better. Today I managed to do more than 200 posts. A record. Next target - 300 posts. I won't achieve in the near future anyway.

Finally I managed to do more than a 100 posts in a single day. I don't remember doing even more than 25 to 30 posts in a day. This was some kind of a marathon to me. Some day I'll try a 200...

I m writing this blog immediatly after I finished playing the Medieval 2:Total War.I downloaded the demo from GS. Man, t'was pretty cool. Awesome even. Just got around playing a few of the battles alone. The level to which the use of strategy and tactics in battle is unbelievable. Never played a game that uses REAL strategy so extensively. Too bad I couldn't do the non-millitary part. I suggest that all RTS fans gotta try the demo at least. Here's the demo.

At last, I have been promoted to an officer in the Blades Of Gamespot union. This is my first ever promotion and I'm really glad to that I've been promoted. This is really awesome.

Good to be back on gamespot after about a week. Installed my new PC and the net went down. Had to put it back up but feelin too lazy especially with the load of new games I got. My new PC's config is:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.66GHz; 1GB RAM DDR2 800MHz FSB; 160GB HDD; nVidia GeForce 8600GT 256MB

That's light years better than my old PC that wheezed even for AOE2.

And there's more - Got a couple o' new CDs: AOE3, NFS:Most Wanted, NFS:Carbon, Stronghold Legends, C & C: Gnerals, C & C Generals:Zero Hour.

With this new config I also got some of the games I had that did not work on my old PC like CoH, Rise Of Nations, Cricket 2002 also worked and of course the great C & C3:Tiberium Wars to work and got around playin them.

Now thats what I call great luck!(At least for a game-starved intense game-lover like me).

Hah! At last...Got the latest game in the Command and Conquer series, developed by EA Games - the one and only, the much talked of, the Command and Conquer 3.:D. Browsing through a small rack of hardly-heard of games, I found this beauty. Bought it immediatly for 999bucks(in Rupees). Anyway, now that the buying part is over, I only have to play it. I got the game but don't have the PC to play it. My PC is darned too old for it.:evil: Now, just to get the PC. Now, how long will that take...God knows. Somebody wish me good luck on the PC part, please.:|

My comp is half-dead and it's killing me. My MOANS:

It's damned too slow. It's a bit slow for even AOE2

My CD-drive doesn't open half the time.

Some keys on my keyboard don't work.

There's no sound output.

My comp doesn't boot properly half the time.

The monitor's power button is faulty and the screen sometimes changes colours.

I got a floppy drive that doesn't work.

I can't change resolutions.

The mouse gets stuck at times.

Anyway...This accounts for barely a third.

And this drives me mad. I think I'm gonna have pulled out my hair before I get my new comp.

Supreme Commander- Is it really that great or is it notas good as it is hyped up to be?

Well, I can't comment on that one for now, not until I play the game personally. I have been following the game's reviews from the day I read a pre-release review of the game that I had read in a mag. That article portrayed the game to be a hallmark in RTS gaming, with cool graphics, innovative gameplay, etc. But a lot of post-release reviews and comments showed that it was not as good as it was ought to be.

For example, there was one review that said that there was powerful graphic engine behind it and that innovative three-dimensional gameplay and so an. But it was said that the vastness of tha maps and the possibility for numerous battles occuring simultaneously made the whole thing hard to control. Yet another review said Supreme Commander was hardly worth the name it had created for itself before it hit the shelves. It said that the game was too flashy with inadequate substance. There were more reviews ;ike these.

On the other hand, I also came across reviews that really made a big issue of the game. There was this one review that said Supreme Commander was the best thing to happen to RTS in a long time.Said it was must for every RTS fan.

I still can't figure out how good it is and until someone explains to me in detail the various aspects of the game or until I play it myself, I will probably be clueless.

Either way I am gonna get it no matter how bad or how good it is.

Now I don't know what the hell is going on but I sure am facin problems with my account. The first thing that I noticed was that my Message area stopped responding all of a sudden. Then I visited the Contributions tab and found it empty. Worse! Now I can't access any Union boards. The Board tabs are all disabled. And until a few moments earlier my Blog was down too. And I wasn't able to open any article either. Now, does this happen a lot here or am I the only guy who got kicked. If this doesn't get any better then I am gonna... PANIC!!!

Okay perhaps I wouldn't panic, but its sure as hell gonna piss me off.
