Honestly, I don't mind buying the PS2 and PS1 games all over again if I can download them onto the PS4 system. I still have my PS2, and I'll be keeping my backwards compatible PS3 for as long as it keeps working.
Some of us weren't as lucky as others. At least yours, Parrot, was still well within the warranty time period. That sucks though 30 minutes of bliss then *dead *
@trdrstv That's a good question, aesthetics do play a roll even when they make absolutely no difference in how the product operates. For me no, as long as it doesn't look like a giant vagina or something silly like that I'm gonna get a PS4. I would have liked to have seen what the console looked like out of curiosity and that's about it. Them not showing it is a little disappointing, but I can live with it. E3 isn't far away.
@LukeWesty Yeah they must have been playing the things nonstop for hours on end. I'm sure some of the consoles were just so poorly made that they just failed quickly like that with little to no effort which sucks. I remember being always nervous with my old Xbox 360 console...it was so loud and it got so hot, I was sure it would Rd Ring any minute, lol! Finally did, oh well.
@LukeWesty @buffaloblitz85 Mine lasted about 5 years as well. I hardly used it too though. It just Red Ringed in January of this year. Just before it went out, games would just suddenly stop and the screen would turn green or some other color. Sometimes orange too I think.
@MjnE @Alucard1475 No if Sony isn't blocking used games, you can bet Microsoft won't either. They would lose a LOT of sales if they went that route, it wouldn't be a smart move at all.
