Well, I beat Hitman Bloodmoney. Twice now. SA all the way on PRO the second time... Requiem... yes, twice... after 801,254 tries, but eventually got through it.

Had a blast. Will do it again real soon too, maybe now. No, not now. Playing Socom CA. Picking up where I left off a month and a half ago (before X-mas), right in the middle. That's normally not like me, I usually start a game and finish it before I start the next one... but Hitman? MMMMmmmmm, couldn't resist!

Which leads me to a rant...

WTF is up with the AI in these games (Socom)? They're getting worse with every game! I have to do everything myself, and give Bravo shotguns so they won't miss at close range, which they still do anyways. Give them a sniper rifle? HA! they might as well hold it backwards! They'd have a better chance hitting their target by ricocheting a bullet off a shoe lace 100 yards behind them! I'll make a short vid of Socom: AI MIA one of these days.

Anyways, it's irritating as hell.

So, my best friend is like the foreman or some head carpenter guy on a major project up at OHSU that just about finished up. So he invited me up to the hospital (OHSU) to ride the new Tram. So I left work about 11 and screwed around on the tram until about 2, here's a few pics from the tram that runs from the hospital down to the riverfront.

Well, I quit smoking today, about an hour ago. Had my last cig, ever. I quit about 3 years ago right after I bought my house. Then I was transfered to a different work location, that wasn't busy... and well... got bored and a few of the other people there smoked. So I started again, had almost made it a year. Cold Turkey, and I intend to do it cold turkey again. I find that keeping busy (pulling weeds, typing this, playing games) helps a lot. It's more of a mental addiction for me than a physical addiction to niccotine. The habit of hand to mouth at certain times of the day will be the hardest to stop. If there's two peices of advice I can offer to anyone and everyone: Take care of your teeth, and NEVER smoke. If you do, quit now, or you'll make it that much harder when it comes time to quit, if you don't die from cancer first.

Been exactly a week, now. Not one. I'm done. (Cartman)sweeeeeeeeeet.

I assumed it was shooter type game 'cause I kept getting shot

This is all over the net right now, and it's happening right here in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. Started snowing yesterday when this video was taken, now it's all frozen snow.

As some of you may know, I have an HDTV, but I don't have cable, (I have basic basic basic cable, $10 a month basic cable) but I do have an HD antenna to receive local channels in HD for free. That's the problem, the antenna. I'm trying to watch the football game, and it's a little windy out, but clear, and the trees or something are blocking my reception so the game keeps cutting in and out. ARGARGAHERGA! I could watch it on the standard analog channel, but as some of you may know, once you see HD, you will not go back.

As soon as I get this TV paid off, I'm buying HD cable so I don't EVER have to go through this frustration again.

EDIT: So I checked with my cable (and internet) provider, they want $115.00 a month! I currently pay about $55 for basic cable and internet. Highway Robbery. I first tried to buy (online) just the HD receiver for $6 a month, got all the way through, thinking "sweet, only 6 bucks a month more and I get uninterupted HD!" But ooooooh noooo. I get to the check out, and suddenly I'm talking live with someone, and they tell me I need Full (or standard) Basic, plus Digital Plus, and the HD reciever. PFFFF. I don't need all those crappy channels! Somebody's getting rich, and it's not me! So, for now, I'm sticking with my antenna. 90% of the time it's fine, it's just........ during a game?! Come on nature! Give me a break!

It worked! Sweet! lame video, but it worked. It's a glitch I encountered while playing SCDA. I was crawling along a pipe above this dude, reached down, snapped his neck, and this the postion he ended up in.

A side note, for anyone that cares. They say bad things happen in three's, well, I'm proof...

I discovered 2 leaks in my roof. Got 1 totally stopped, and the other under control.

A week later, a big storm hit and blew off about 10 shingles from my roof, and I had to repair them, on the roof, in the dark (head flashlight on) during the storm.

Yesterday, my toilet seat broke in my bathroom.

That's three. I'm done for a while... Ihope.
