@Thanatos2k: That's not true. SE has no obligation to accept them back once they are shipped out to stores. It's up to those stores to make educated guesses, projections of sales of those copies. So they need to not order insanely high numbers; SE won't be taking them back.
Like the poster below me said, it's true that if they don't sell well in stores and they have remaining stock, SE won't be shipping any more copies for a long time. For all we know, this 5 million shipped could already be the majority of copies sold/shipped - for lifetime sales.
@lostn: Shipped means sold, just not necessarily to the end user (people like us). So 5 million copies actually have been sold (the stores buy them and resell to us), SE has made all that money from all those copies. Whether or not the copies in stores sell to customers, matters not to SE. They will not accept those copies back from the stores if they don't sell.
I understand where you're coming from though, I'd like to know also how many copies will actually end up in the hands of consumers.
I doubt it's going to come to PC and if it does, am not counting on it for at least 18-24 months. It's a shame cause I'd rather play it on that but will settle for the PS4 Pro version (which will look and run really nice anyway, but no substitute for PC 4K ultra settings at 60fps).
What a bunch of whiny babies. Wah wah waaaaaaaah. Who cares about a drop of a couple of fps? I only notice dips (and they are bad to me) if it goes below 24fps. Sounds like it'll stay at above 24fps to me, so I'll notice no difference in performance.
@Prats1993: That's "if" there will be a PC port. It's really up in the air at this point, it could happen or not. Just keep your hype for PC port in check, at least until they formally announce they are doing it.
