Those have been my thoughts. Concept sounds interesting and i love sci-fi type stories but, from what I have seen, the execution isn't living up to the potential. I'll wait to see what reviews say upon release but even with positive reviews I'll probably wait on for a sale and grab the game for a cheaper price.
Really? Just played the first 2 uncharted games from the remastered collection and didn't have much complaints with the controls, except for taking cover in the first game.
@Utnayan: those are the worst kinds of difficulty changes. Obviously it makes the game more difficult but it does it in a cheap way. It's like the AI is using a cheat code.
This is my approach to most games. Nothing wrong with waiting a few extra days to make sure a game is worth buying. Worst case scenario is that you need to play a little catch up once you do buy the game. Best case scenario you save yourself some money by not buying a game you would end up disliking. Of course there is also the option of waiting a few weeks or so until a patch releases to improve the game a bit and then buy the game on sale.
@joshrmeyer: it is more because of the type of game they are. Online rpgs that allow you to join with a team of players I compete against others or tackle missions together. Loot system, gear system, rpg leveling, etc. The games have a good share of similarities and differences.
@nvetro13: even if they did receive copies before release it is hard to judge an online game when there is only a handful of players online. The experience can change drastically once millions of players are trying to play at the same time.
@nickyparmar92: I think it has more to do with this game being an online game. It is hard to get a concrete review score for an online game after playing for less than a day. It's not as easy as running through a campaign and the judging the game.
This game would be absolutely ridiculous with one bullet kills. You would die every 15 seconds. There is going to be a dlc for a harder difficulty setting so maybe that will result in a bit more realism.
