@garysan: Dreams is cool but it's going to take some time for that game to truly shine. Ton of potential but, for me atleast, it's going to be a game I hold off on until I can see the full breadth of what people are able to create with the game.

I also don't have much confidence in my own creativity to fully appreciate and enjoy the creation process of the game (would love to be wrong about this).

@mal123456: as an owner of both consoles I really hope Microsoft/Xbox steps their game up at E3. The lack of quality exclusives has really hurt the XboxOne for me. The BC games are cool but I didn't buy an XboxOne to replay games from previous gens and I'm not going to invest in an XboxOneX just for the visual boost.

@spartanx169x: "what was the developer/maker trying to make and did they accomplish that?"

I always think about this with games and movies. For example you can't judge a sports game and a narrative focused single player game the same way Or a comedy movie compared to a horror movie.

But for me it's more based on my own expectations and what I want out of said product. I think personal expectations can play a major role. Highly hyped, anticipated movies/games might disappoint because of expectations (I feel this happened with BvS and The Last Jedi) while a below the radar movie/game might surprise you.

Having the wrong expectations can really ruin an experience. Take MCU movies for example. At this point most people know what to expect from those films For the most part they are fun, action oriented blockbusters. If a person goes in expecting a super serious, mature superhero movie and they leave disappointed that's more on them for having the wrong expectations than the movie failing.

@tom_cat_01: especially with a Pro on a 4K HDR enabled tv. This past weekend I tried out Uncharted 4 and Horizon on my brother's LG OLED screen and my God were those games gorgeous.

@valgaav_219: haha that's part of what prevents me from going back. Between relearning all the intricacies and mechanics as well as the amount of content in the game it sometimes doesn't seem worth getting back into it unless I know I'll have the time to dedicate to it

@valgaav_219: hahaha I'm with you dude. Been basically working on beating this game since launch but always end up taking breaks or getting distracted by other games. But the updates give me a good excuse to go back. Now just a matter of reacquainting myself with the game...again.

@cejay0813: I'm with you. It's part of the reason I didn't mind upgrading from a PS4 to a Pro. I know the X1X is a better console in terms of hardware and features but I love the PS4 exclusives I wanted the option to play them at their best. It also helps that I got a pretty good deal after trade ins (only spent a little over $100).

Being an XboxOne owner I just don't have enough reasona to warrant upgrading to a OneX. The improved visuals are great but I barely use my XboxOne as it is, not in a rush to spend at least a few hundred to play the same games with improved visuals.
