@warriors30 @sebs3 @Kamilus360 Good point, actually. Although I have no idea what he was talking about in the CoD or Battlefield portion. Just a side by side. Well, they should actually have each controller try and mimic the other. So its a true comparison (or attempt) of how itll run.

@Kamilus360 @sebs3 They showed the Kinect Sports game, I think. But it was just a demo of some waverunners. Looks like it could be pretty fun. But again, as with most Kinect games, it looks repetitive.

If they're ever going to really appeal to the hardcore gamers (the types that stay awake til 4 am discussing next gen consoles in forums), then they need to use it in combination with the controller. Remember those horeshit action button scenes from Resident Evil 6? Think of that but instead of hitting a button, drop the controller, and "axe your way through a door" or something. Dont just put it in there to use it; put in something clever. Something that feels like I can do it good and receive benefit for it. And voice, continue to use the voice commands (if ya got em)

Ryse started off as an outlandishly over-priced Kinect project. They changed course and didnt want to scrap the game... but they shoulda stuck with the Kinect feature. That woulda been the only way to save that game. Two input modes: controller or Kinect. Because the controller version they offer now looks just about as crappy as simplified, translated Kinect action game
