@rossmiester21 I really dont know. I think it has to do with the way the memory is accessed. And the physical difference (whatever that is) allows for the retrieval of data differently. You notice how the Xbox One can run several programs at once and in the background? I believe it is capable because of that memory.

@Kamilus360 I believe both systems are attempting to integrate this technology. I think Xbox One has the edge from a developer's standpoint (for exclusives) because the system comes packaged with a peripheral device that ALL consumers.
