[QUOTE="bobsarcasm"]A while ago I read something about this, is this true?remmbermytitans
remember how kojima was begging for snake to be in smash? wellHe, im sure that part of the agreement was that kojima makes a metal gear for the wii
He did this begging just prior to the release of Melee and it was too late for them to put him in. Therefore they are holding up their end of the bargain this go around. And I think their compensation for that was Twin Snakes for GameCube, which was incredibly awesome.
From RedOctane's site in the Wii bundle product info section :

The only issue I have with employees at my local Gamestop and EBGames is their constantly pressuring me to preorder games. I understand that it's a business, and that's what they do. But I know how preordering works. I've been making preorders at EBGames since I was like 13 or so and I don't need their help with it. If I want a preorder, I will ask for a preorder. Worst of all is being asked constantly to preorder games for systems I don't even own. I think that their trade in values are perfectly fair when compared to rates of other places that buy and sell used games or movies or whatever. It's usually a ripoff. Don't do it unless you want to. Some people don't collect and like to get 3 or 4 games built up that they wont play anymore and then trade them for the latest new game, repeat the process. It's like getting a free game every time you buy 3 or 4 and with the prices of games these days, who could blame them for doing so if they want? Most people will regret it more than they thought though. People obviously love to play old favorites still, which is why things like the Virtual Console and classic games on PS3 and 360 online networks are doing so well. Also, I think it's fair of Gamestop to only accept store credit. Only accepting store credit for trade ins cuts down on the likelihood of someone stealing your stuff from you to sell it back to a store. The only place thieves have left to go for cash is the pawn shop, and that's the way it should be.
