@iamjesus: are you taking a beating in the ass or in the face? I used to take it in the face, although people say taking it in the ass is a painful yet horny and joyful experience for kids:)
@R4gn4r0k: Transformers: Devastation you mean?! The game was not boring or being the same all the time, to me at least. It had lots of variation to it. However, I agree with it being short.
@hishamramzan: the point you're making is both right and wrong to some extent. In fact, while you're absolutly right about the lack of the crouch option in the games you mentioned, you are also missing the fact that many of these games either do not contain stealth missions or if they do, the developers have added extra animations to the characters' reactions to the situations where remaining undetected is also an option. For example, in Tomb Raider, when she encounters enemies unawared of her position, Lara automaticly poses a crouching animation which makes sense for the situation she finds herself in. While this technique is also apearent in other games such as Uncharted series, The Division simply ignores it and leaves you with no choice but to cover-past enemies in sneaky missions.
@xspartanx3x: "in other words make a true successor the Xbox 360"
I think you spoke the mind of many xbox fans by this.
Xbox one was not desined with gamers in mind. Now, they want to fix a mistake by making another.
This is stupid as it has proven itself to be. In fact, if one looks at the similar attempts made by Sega and Atari, s/he would understand that such annoncements are not only good news for gamers but also a sign of probable complete demise of a brand.
Look at Sega 32X, a desperate attempt to expand the lifespan of Sega mega drive, and we all know how it ended up. Take Atari Jaguar as another example, another failure in increasing the sale rate of a console that had not lived up to its expections.
Although MS may come out with fresh ideas for Xbox upgrade, it is still a desprate attempt to fix a mistake that was made years ago when they were planning on making xboxone.
I think they should listen to gamers and, as you mentioned, make a true successor to Xbox360 and stop goofing around testing new stupid business plans.
