I installed Empire Total War. It seems like it could be a fun game but I am not enjoying it right now.

I did the land tutorials and then I did just some basic land battle skirmishes. I would always lose because my guys ran away. I don't know why but a lot of the time they don't even shoot at all. The meele button doesn't seem to do anything either.

I was wondering if there is a point upgrading?

I am on my 3rd computer now, all custom built. This one was built back in 2007.

In the last year I have put 2 more sticks of ram and a 500gb Harddrive in (up from 160gb). I should have bought a TB Harddrive, although I do have an external one I use for backups. I have about 200gb left.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Memory: 4096MB RAM

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

Manufacturer: NVIDIADisplay Memory: 2796 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1005 MB
Shared Memory: 1791 MB
Current Mode: 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Monitor Model: SyncMaster

I should mention I have replaced 3 Video Cards in less than 2 years. All Nvidia cards. A geforce 9800 GT 3 times until I got my current card. They burnt out within 6-7 months. None were overclocked. Hopefully the same does not happen to this card. I have had it for about 5 months now.

I have only played Half-Life 2 and GTA. I don't know anything about the other 2.

Half-Life 2. Only played it once. Good combat and good story. Game still looks great. I don't think many people play online Half-Life 2 Source anymore. Unless you get more games when you buy HL2 I don't think it's really worth it. Once you beat the game, that's it.

GTA is good and has great replay value.

I voted GTA.

for sure I love coop. That's my favourite part of the game.

I do prefer the Rainbow Six style more now that you have explained it. I love infiltrating warhouses, villas, planes, banks, etc. I am sure Ghost Recon is still pretty good though.

RTS are the best Coop games as far as I am concerned.

Also any of the Rainbow Six games.

You know I don't know much about Ghost Recon. I think I played the original on a console years ago. I don't remember liking it very much. But then again I don't like consoles at all.

They are both made by the same company. So what's the difference? Is Ghost Recon just more military like and less close quarters combat?

I heard the Operation Flashpoint series was really bad. I'll look up some videos though and check it out.

Isn't Crysis just a First Person Shooter? It doesn't have squads or anything?

Swat 4 looks pretty good. I like how you can arrest people and it's not just bust open the door and guns a blazing. I will have to find this game.

Amnesia is one of the best games I have played in the last 4 years or so.

I don't find many games scary at all. But Amensia had some very good 'jump out of your seat' moments. The music and sound effects in general are very good. The story is quite good as well. I give it a 10/10.

The best part of the game is that it has no weapons. The fact that you are defenseless and unable to attack in anyway makes it way scarier. I don't like games labelled super scary, but then have weapons where you can just unload into an enemy that jumps out to you. In Amensia, your choice is to run like hell or die.

For the most part I played the game in the dark. The intersting thing about the game though is if you stay in the dark too long you start to go insane. It's slows you down and you can fall over. Had some really close calls when I encountered a monster and I fell over.

I finished the game with I think about 100+ tinderboxes, 8 things of oil, and 0 deaths. The game didn't take me to long, but I was really into it. One of my friends, who reccomended it to me, took about a month to beat because he was so scared. He used everything he had to light up the rooms.
