Oh, here we go. Another debate where the word 'liberal' is thrown around like it's an insult. I'll bet there's a message forum somewhere that started off discussing Meditteranean floral arrangements that's degenerated into this nonsense. Isn't our country supposed to stand for freedom? And I don't mean the freedom that some groups would like to copyright so that only they can use it. I mean REAL freedom, like the freedom to say stuff we don't agree with. What are we turning into? Venezuela? Pakistan?

Damn you, Gears of War, for making this happen!

Well, I guess that solidifies my decision not to buy GeOW.

Only thing I'm really excited about is the DC Universe MMOG. This is my dream come true.Lurk99

Holy crap, yeah. I HATE MMOs but I'll give the DC one a try just because it's a superhero game and that's a rare thing.

I remember meeting a Mac fan once. The guy was really strange. He was one of my wife's friend's co-workers and he came in and saw me working on my PC and just started asking me questions why I owned a PC when Macs are so much better. I just looked at the guy like he had **** on his head and got back to my work. He was really odd, one of those guys who has that look in his eye like he needs to lay off the coffee. Hyper-active disorder or something. I don't see any reason to own a Mac.

The question you should be asking is "Why isn't Apple tappin' that a$$?" That's a question I'd like to have an answer to.

I think there could be a lot of cool aspects to the game. You could have a cast of secondary characters; friends, family, co-workers, who are vying for your attention and whom you have to kept your superhero identity a secret from, all the while juggling a normal life. This could be interesting, like maybe one mission you'd have to clock in at work, report to your desk, be seen by a few co-workers, but then scamper off, hide, change into your costume and escape your place of employment to head off and fight a giant robot that's threatening an air base or something. I don't know, just something that would give you the feeling of being a superhero, where you'd actually get to role-play and not just grind like hell for crappy XP points like in some MMO.

True, in all the benchmarks, it also runs parallel with the GTX which costs twice as much.

[QUOTE="superduperdog"]

Well dont get a Gt if you want graphics. In terms of graphics capabilities most are 256 bit just like the cheaper 7900 gts.

Look it up. Go for the barly more expensive 8800 gts if you want 300 some bit graphics.

bignice12

lol, you obviously haven't seen any benchmarks of the 8800GT, it is a great card for a really great price. Now that newegg finally got some in stock, I hope prices drop a bit back to normal before I purchase one in December.

I'll bet Midway made it. They excel in making glitchy crap.

It was hilarious when they showed gameplay footage of it. The truck was just driving through everything; mountains, rocks, bushes and trees with no clipping whatsoever. I think the game was made on a bet and the guy who lost the bet had to make it.

I think X-Play gave it a rating of 1 out of 5.
